Nice place for the money

The room was clean. The rest of the hotel was interesting in a good way. Staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Location is a 5 minute walk to the riverfront but the surrounding buildings were not desirable. I'd stay there again if I will be in the area.

Decent place for short stay

Hotel has got own unique atmosphere. It is located near shopping centre and close to the city centre.
Breakfast was fine but not amazing.
My room needed a proper clean as the amount of dust in the room was scary.

Clean, comfortable but noisy

Rooms are comfortable and clean, bathrooms moderns and spacious. Hotel is good option for a short stay BUT it's too noisy, so avoid at all cost the street side rooms, you won't be able to sleep.
No elevator and no restaurant for lunch or dinner, only breakfast which is very simple.
Wifi connection for free and good.
Very well placed hotel, near to a big shopping center and the boulevard on the river where you can eat because no restaurant in the hotel.
They provide you a bottle of water every day.

If looking for a sleepless night - this is the place!

The hotel is indeed well located and relatively clean. Also, the staff are nice and friendly but not terribly professional.
Now - the bad part - almost all rooms in the hotel face busy main street, meaning a lot of noise. The beds are not comfortable. The pillows - or rather what is placed on the beds to be used as a pillow - have a softness of a stone. I got up after one night not being able to do shoulder check when driving. Quite terrible.
There is no bar, no social place in the hotel, except for the breakfast room in the basement. I was advised to go and buy myself a beer in a nearby grocery store and then come back, sit down in the basement and have fun. Thanks goodness for the Irish Pub on the other side of the river!
Breakfast. Relatively good coffeemaker, dry bread and scrambled eggs that were surely made for the first guest (6AM) and are still waiting at 9AM for the late guests...

Hotel with a character

This is a hotel for those looking for a change from network hotels..Located in an old nicely refurbished building it offers spacious rooms (except of 1) and oversized bathrooms. Nice interiors combined with perfect location. Walking distance (5 mins) to riverside restaurants and city centre. In the summer it is popular with tourists and there are business visitors all year round. Twinned with not-so-classy MCM hotel located nearby.
Strengths:
Clean, friendly, service oriented and cooperative free staff. Flexible payment arrangements for regular business visitors
Weak points: Noise from the main street (there are rooms facing other directions)
Have your own soap and shampoo !
Limited number of secure parking spaces (but there is a free of charge alternative 200 m away).
