Delicious Food & Lovely Restaurant

Food here is amazing, I have been to this side of Poland 3 times in the last 2 years and this restaurant is always the highlight of the trip when it comes to food. Menu has a good variety of local dishes and every dish I have tried so far has been delicious. Prices may look a little high compared to other restaurants in the area but it is absolutely worth it and the quality of food is much higher than will find elsewhere locally. Their mushroom soup was so good I actually took 6 portions with me back to England, which the owner was happy to accommodate for. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back to Poland to eat more of their food.

Food dissapointing!

Sadly the food here did not live up to expectation. Arrived here especially to eat after a long drive based on a facebook recommendation. Attention to detail was poor (cutlery arrived after food was served, no tissues) portions unreasonable. Ordered ribs that were covered in sauce you couldnt see what you were eating, golonka (special) was huge, so huge impossible to finish for one person and covered in more fat than meat. Dissapointing as it has the potential to be better. Kids didnt eat much, had to find another eatery as the menu did not really offer them much.

Wonderful location, disappointing food

Stopped for lunch for a family of 4 on a Monday afternoon. Dined on an airy terrace with storks circling, and haymaking below soups od barszcz Ukrainski and Zurek were of good quality and a dessert of blueberry pierogi satisfactory. However, many dishes on the menu were unavailable and/or missing parts and other than the aforementioned pierogi no desserts on the menu. The coffee espresso was out of service . I ordered beef cheeks that I ate as I was hungry but they seemed to be heated up from the previous day. The bill of 170 pln was too high for the disappointing meal..

If you have too much time to waste waiting for waiter then we recommend
Otherwise you schould skip
Noone pays attention for gests waiting for srvice
They are too busy even if half of places are empty
They do not have basic components like tomato juice

at the end of the European world

The hotel is much more than we expected. The People are incredibly friendly and most of them even speak fluent English. The food is great, the rooms very clean and bright. It's very quiet there and if you are lucky you may see Bisons, Red deer and roe deer from the terrace or from the Tower. We will be back!
