A wonderful stay

We had a fabulous stay. Sophia is the most wonderful host and a truly amazing cook. Authentic Portuguese food, what more could you ask for.

Dream Guincho beautiful architectural accommodation with attention to detail.

Beautiful spacious clean rooms with spacious balcony. Bathroom was fine, plenty of room to move. Very friendly personal service. Well prepared meals at home. Herbs from their own garden, baked cake etc. Pool enough to refresh and plenty of spacious places around the pool. Breakfast is excellent, a little more variety would be nice. Within walking distance there are plenty of restaurants.

Excellent with a family and comfortable Mood. I loved it!

I loved the stay at Dream Guincho. The hotel is small and welcoming, with a careful decor that creates a family and comfortable Mood. The rooms are clean, comfortable and overlooking the beach of Guincho and the mountain range. The breakfast is excellent, served with sympathy, and the staff was always helpful and attentive. It is the ideal place for those who want a quiet and quality stay, and can explore both the beaches of the region as the village of Sintra or the nature and mountain trails. I recommend without hesitation!

A Hidden Gem and A must see/stay--words can't describe...

I brought 2 groups of 14 people to the Dream Guincho Hotel in Fall of 2024.  Photos and any description does not give it justice, because it is so special.  The decor, layout and warm amenities make this Hotel stand out above and beyond most.  I felt like I walked around for days in awe of the detail and decor--it was so unique.  
It is a home away from home stay, with pampering.  Each guest room and bathroom is supplied with all of the conveniences one would need.  The beds/bedding are really comfy.  There are USB plugs in the rooms making charging of cell phones and electronics so easy.  Each room has a private patio overlooking the pool and a distant view of the Atlantic Ocean.   Only a 5-10 min walk to a cute little town (but a bit steep for a short distance) called Alcabideche, which has a couple of small Restaurants, grocery store, ATM, etc.  The beach/ocean is about a 45 minute walk but could be an easy taxi ride.  A hike to the ocean cliffs was beautiful.   Visiting Cascais & Sintra were a highlight for us.  A car rental would be most convenient since Uber/taxi's struggled with finding the Hotel.  Their driveway is long and unassuming because it is tucked away a bit, but that also makes it nice for the privacy.   We loved our stay and hope to come back!

Below expectations

On 03/01/2025, we booked a stay at Dream Guincho. This stay included, one night in the hotel with access to the heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, breakfast and access to the various areas of the same.
Arriving at the Hotel we were informed that they had canceled numerous reservations because it was in Obras! We were a little worried and surprised because no one had warned us of this information before.
Since this we were then without access to the heated pool, almost the main of our choice for the stay.
On the other hand we still had the jacuzzi and the sauna, however, we could only use it until 7 pm. When we checked in at 4:30 p.m., we only had 2:30 p.m. to enjoy everything we had to enjoy.
To add to this everything, we asked to use the jacuzzi at 18h to give time to get warm, when we arrived the jacuzzi had warm water, I remember that it is winter and the same is on the street so we almost froze... When we asked the staff if the jacuzzi wasn't warmer anymore, they were available, but they told us that they didn't and they didn't even give us the option to use the jacuzzi later when it was warmer.
That is, we paid more than 200€ to go to an aesthetically pleasant and relaxing hotel to sleep and take breakfast only. Without being able to enjoy anything promised to us, without having repaid us any part of the value or offered any compensation for all the inconvenience that turned out.
On the other hand as there can be only bad things, the kitchen was impeccable, served us a great breakfast and the staff, in part, was quite warm during our stay.
