Never seen a king size so big!! super bath and shower and room equipped with all comforts with interactive televisions and also umbrellas available in case of rain!!
Breakfast I would say very interesting with sweet and salty up to expectations!!
Friendly and present reception to show us how to get around Aveiro!

Breakfast left a little to be desired. Scrambled eggs were cold on more than one occasion.

Didn't really know what to make of it
Built into a small, shallow plot which gives it an unusual character and shape. We paid for a room with a balcony and canal view, one of only two in the hotel. The view was pleasant but the balcony, although long, was very narrow. And it did not receive a great deal of sun. There was a rooftop bar and terrace directly above the two rooms with balconies, which did receive more sun, but again, was small, and odd in shape and design. The alcohol strength of cocktails from this bar was somewhat underwhelming.
We were graciously allowed early check in. The room was good, with the widest bed of all time. The shower took a long time to provide hot water in the morning. Breakfast contained a varied and plentiful selection, although the cooked items were never that warm, let alone hot.
Overall, it had the feel of an establishment trying to find its feet, unsure of its strengths and weaknesses. I am not sure the staff were that happy working there, particularly the reception staff. The attitude was largely passive and cried out for someone with maturity, experience and leadership.
The soulless, piped 'elevator' music played from the ceiling of the corridor outside our room was slightly disturbing late into the evening after a long day. On one occasion I had to go down to reception to ask for it to be turned off, which it was immediately.
