If you really want to feel like you left your worries behind, stay here.

My daughter and I just loved our time here. We stayed several nights and could not believe how kind the staff were. We arrived from Toronto at around 8:30 am and if you can believe this, Daniela from the front desk messaged us that we could check in! that early!! because they had our room available!!! AND!! when we arrived, she showed us to the breakfast buffet and we were able to have a full breakfast!
Daniela ended up being a huge help for us planning our week and we took all of her suggestions and they were amazing: routes, highlights for what we were looking for, restaurants, weather etc.
The breakfast really is out of this world: nothing like what we get in Canada: everything is freshly made from the purest of ingredients and the chef makes everything: several options for eggs, cheeses, fresh meats, fruits, freshly squeezed juices, a whole bunch of options for freshly baked sweet breads etc. He makes this pineapple cake which is SO good!!
The hotel is super clean, super quiet, great bed. Just really relaxing and you feel like you have the whole place to yourself, no crowding, just peace and quiet.
I am SO GLAD we spent our most days here, it by far made our trip. If you really want to feel like you left your worries behind, stay here. A day feels like two days, they just know how to make you feel like you left your stresses behind.

A repeat experience!

I was welcomed at Quinta da Abelheira by an extremely friendly and professional team.
The facilities, besides being very well cared for, proved extremely comfortable and spacious.
The farm itself is fantastic — a huge, very well-treated space ideal for those looking for tranquility, contact with nature and moments of real rest.
The breakfast also deserves to be highlighted: very diverse, with products of excellent quality and carefully confectioned — the difficulty lies in deciding where to start!
All expectations were exceeded. I highly recommend!

The staff was so welcoming. The pool was divine. The breakfast was delicious. What a beautiful spread! Our room, Graciosa, was perfect for us. We would happily return to Quinta de Abelheira!

Loved staying here! All the staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful suite, very comfortable and quiet. Famtastic brakfast! Would highly recommend.

There was no receptionist on site to accommodate us. Called the number provided and nobody answered. Finally someone called back and said they would be there in a few.Never showed up , felt very unsafe, place was in the middle of nowhere,wife very nervous.Had to walk to nearby house was ask for assistance.
