Annual stay
We booked bed and breakfast as our base and upgraded to a suite on our second day, which made the trip feel even more special. The hotel has a lovely traditional old Portuguese feel, and the whole place was peaceful and relaxing. It is quite quiet, with not much around, which suited us perfectly for a restful break.
It was also nice to see animals on site, which added to the charm of the hotel. Breakfast was fairly limited and the same each day, but there was still enough variety for all of us to find something we liked.
The pool was well maintained and very welcoming, and the lake area was a lovely feature too. Guests could use the pedal boats and kayaks free of charge, although unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to try them as we were on a tight schedule.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Herdade Largo Real and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic Portuguese getaway.

Exceptional setting
The pool area is great as well as the beach on the lake

The positive points are, the varied and fun leisure options, the animals, the quality of the care of all employees, the cleanliness of the rooms and the breakfast.

Good stay
Restaurant is very good, fresh meals in a buffet.
Spacious room, mediocre furniture.
Cleanliness needs improvement!! Too bad, it lowers the rating!
