Most underrated apartments of Madeira!

The rooms are very nice, modern and clean. The service was really nice too! Because it was early in the year they were not fully booked and we got a free upgrade with an absolutely incredible view over the bay!

Spacious apartment in a quiet location

Casa da Capelinha is located a little above in a quiet area and is particularly suitable for hikers. A few parking spaces are available, otherwise you can park along the road. We had a very clean, spacious apartment with large terrace. The living area is quite new and the kitchenette well equipped. The ceramic hob has two plates. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, crockery and cutlery are also provided.
The pool we used daily. Next to the pool is a bistro restaurant and reception. The bistro is closed on Sundays. The owners and staff were all very friendly.
The TV has 12 programs, but only Portuguese. The mattresses were too hard for us and due to the high humidity everything smelled a bit sporky. The bathroom with bathtub is a little older. The joints are already very yellowed and a few wall hooks for the towels would be useful. The two narrow towel rails are not enough. Speaking of towels: They are air-dried and accordingly hard.
Unfortunately, in September there were not only many mosquitoes, but also biting gnats. During the day we were plagued by the mosquitoes at the accommodation and in the evening by the mosquitoes.

Gem in Ponta Delgado Madeira

Fine hotel with nice restaurant (‘Baixas’ 15.00-21.00 open.) Spacious rooms with good with fully equipped kitchenette private outdoor seating.Good beds and fine service, pool and great ocean and mountain views. Parking opportunity present. Stayed there only two days but that could have been more!

WONDERFUL

a pure marvel!!!! it was our best accommodation during our stay in Madeira where we tested several Airbnbs. Maria and her husband are simply adorable. the apartment was ultra clean and perfectly suitable for a family of 4 people. quality equipment!! our children aged 12 and 9 slept very comfortably on the sofa bed. the bedding in the master bedroom was very good too. we only have one regret.... that of not having spent our entire stay here!! we will come back !! so without any hesitation go there with your eyes closed, whether for your entire stay or for a stopover on the north coast. Their restaurant for the evening is very good and reasonably priced. Maria Carlos a huge thank you!!

Wonderfull stay at Casa de Capelinha

We had an excellent stay at the Casa da Capelinha. The hosts, Maria and Carlos, are such fine people. We felt really welcome during our stay and they did everything to make sure we (and all other guests) had a good time.
The appartment is in the small town Ponta Deldaga. The appartment has a perfect view on the sea. During the nights we heard the waves which was very relaxing for us.
The appartment complex is well taken care of. Everything was clean and kept clean during our stay. The swimming pool was also clean and had a very nice temperature. Every day Carlos was working on cleaning the pool.
They have a small restaurant. The food was good and well prepared. We ate there every evening.
We can recommend Case da Capelinha if you are looking for a fine place to stay on the beautifull island Madeira.
