Not a 4-star hotel

Definitely not a 4-star hotel:
The sanitary facilities, especially the shower, are really old and need to be renovated. Room very gloomy and only one bedside lamp for a double bed.
The breakfast was below average for 4 stars (bread dry, or hard as a rock, generally little selection, staff grumpy)
Otherwise very well located, nice staff at the reception and really very quiet - this is a big plus.

Quiet hotel with exquisite evening restaurant

Centrally located, quiet hotel with daily cleaning of the room without surcharge. Breakfast is fine, but becomes a little monotonous after a few days. The hotel's evening restaurant, on the other hand, is sublime - give yourself a special experience and taste their sushi! And if you get a craving for pizza, you will find the best 100 meters down the street at Nonnas.

Clean room and great staff. Perfect location. Within walking distance to almost everything and next to an amazing pizza restaurant’Nonna’s Teeth’ Only complaints: the pillows were too soft and the bathrooms outdated. Needs a walk in shower! Great sitting areas in the lobby if you are travelling with a large group. Breakfast could have more variety of fruit but otherwise very good!

Location and staff made this hotel good. However the rooms are dated. Bed in hard and pillows are soft and lumpy. Breakfast was good but same thing every day.

Really nice hotel and staff but improvements required

We stayed here for 1 night and the hotel is in a brilliant location that is central and within walking distance of lots of restaurants. The staff were really personable and sweet throughout, and organised a taxi for us upon check out. The pool area is fab!
A couple of points that seem to resonate with other guests. Our bedroom was so nicely decorated but the bathroom was dated and we didn’t like the shower curtain which frankly got in the way and not the most hygienic. We stayed in room 118 and the toilet was leaking at the base all over the floor which wasn’t pleasant. The hotel were responsive in trying to fix it.
We missed not having tea / coffee making facilities in our room which is normal in all other places, and given what we paid for our room for the night, which wasn’t cheap, it felt very mean spirited to have to pay for 1.2 euros for a bottle of water in the fridge, although they did not charge for this. This should be complimentary. Come on guys!
Our room faced on to the street and we were kept awake throughout the night by loud noises outside up to 3am. There is a municipal garbage facility outside, and various restaurants were dumping their glass and waste at all hours of the night. Some of them were not even respectful and were talking and shouting at the top of their voices which was really disrespectful. There is no air con in the room and as the weather was so hot we had to have the windows open. Perhaps restaurants should all agree not to dump their heavy waste until the morning and be quiet…
We would recommend asking for a room that doesn’t face on to the street.
For us, as we were only here for a night we let it go but if we had stayed for longer we would have picked this up with the management to have a room not facing the street.
Breakfast was average and not aligned to accommodation of this standard, and with the benefit of hindsight, we would not opt for breakfast. There is a lovely bakery at the bottom of the street with really good breakfast options that we would expect to see in a hotel like this.
