A lovely hotel

Would definitely recommend this hotel - clean, tidy, and perfectly located just a few minutes from the town centre, a stones throw to the marina, and around the corner from a small supermarket. Theres also a taxi rank right outside. Room was exactly as described, free WiFi, was cleaned daily, and towels/sheets changed upon request. My room also had a coffee machine and pods, bottled water, and a mini-fridge which was really useful (this may depend on room type I guess).
There are no coat hooks in the room - a minor thing, but that means nowhere to hang a wet raincoat other than in the wardrobe or on the bathroom door. Also, it would be useful for rooms to have a small drying rack for wet swimsuits etc. During my stay, my wet coat, swimsuit, shorts etc had to be draped over furniture and the bathroom door to dry.

Decent

Pros: clean, very well located, spacious room
Cons: poorly insulated (street noise), very uncomfortable plastic sheets (50% polyester, I didn't know that could exist…), average breakfast.

Hotel in itself is great for a 3 star. However, I have to say that the pictures of the rooms are rather misleading. Based on these pictures, one could easily assume that the rooms themselves are more of a 4 star level and that the 3 star rating of the hotel must be from a lack of amenities etc. Room was actually small- pictures were taken in such a way to stretch out the room. Overall experience of the hotel based on staff and care was excellent though.

Amazing hotel, very well located in the heart of Ponta Delgada. The room was big and clean, the bed very confortable and the staff was lovely and very helpful.
Main attractions, markets, shops, bars, restaurants and street food trucks are 1-5 min walking which is great.
The sauna was great also after a long day of hiking.

Booked here for 1 night before flying out.Thr lobby looks modernized. But the rest of the hotel, hallway and rooms looks dated. Sinks didn’t drain well, and bathroom looks old compared to the rest of the hotel. Very basic rooms. We didn’t get to try their breakfast as we had to check out early to catch a flight. The front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.
