We had a fabulous stay at Maison Emeraude. Franck and Miguel were wonderful and attentive hosts. We stayed there for two nights during our honeymoon and only wished we could have stayed longer!
The breakfasts were incredible and we chose to have dinner there, which they offer every other night (don't miss it!). They also have a menu of snacks and drinks to choose from during the day. The room is incredibly spacious and steps away from a beautiful pool. The design aesthetic and hospitality of this place are 10/10. We hope to return some day and cant wait to recommend Maison Emeraude to any friends visiting Sao Miguel Island. You wont regret staying here!

A Hidden Gem: Beautiful Setting, Healthy Cuisine, Wonderful Hosts

Our stay exceeded our expectations, thanks in part to the hospitality, good taste, and attentiveness of our hosts—Franck and Miguel. The property’s location is perfect for quickly reaching all of the island’s tourist attractions, and the house is an amazing gem set in a tropical setting. We are very grateful and would love to come back anytime.

Maison Emeraude the jewel of the Azores.

A very beautiful encounter, this stay at Maison Emeraude. The place is true to the image one gets from Franck's posts.
Coming solo, I discovered a place imbued with elegance, beauty, and calm, both in the house and in the garden.
Franck and Miguel, the owners, welcome you with a big smile. You know the week is going to be great!
I had a very comfortable room with tasteful decor, and hearty, balanced breakfasts cooked with passion.
Maison Emeraude is the place to stay, the benchmark on Sao Miguel, to fully enjoy the beauties of the island.
Franck and Miguel know how to share their passion and love for art, the best addresses, and good spots for beautiful hikes.
Even alone, the stay remains unforgettable.
Thank you both for this beautiful getaway.

The best!

Truly one of the best places I have ever stayed. My wife and I loved every minute and every detail. The whole property is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful and have so much charm and character will still being cozy and relaxing, the pool is perfect, the food is amazing, and Franck and Miguel are incredible hosts.
Can't way to come back!

An ideally located address to discover the entire island.

Upon our arrival at Maison Emeraude, we understood that our stay would be exceptional. Franck and Miguel welcomed us with rare kindness and attention, and we immediately felt at home.
The house is magnificent, tastefully decorated, and the pool is simply splendid: a true haven of peace where it is pleasant to relax after a day of exploration.
The breakfasts are a true delight, entirely homemade and renewed each day according to the chef's inspiration. We were also fortunate to dine several times at the guest table, and each meal was absolutely delicious, prepared with quality products and a lot of passion.
Beyond the setting and the cuisine, it is especially the attention given to the guests that makes all the difference. Franck and Miguel advised us each day on the best activities and the most beautiful places to discover based on the weather, which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay on the island.
A huge thank you for your welcome, your generosity, and your kindness. We leave with wonderful memories and the desire to return. An address we recommend without the slightest hesitation!
