successful summer holiday
It was a very successful family holiday with great leisure activities for the whole family.
The food was very good and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The facility was great! Fantastic garden with a pond, go-kart track, soccer field, table tennis courts and lots of rental bikes.
We will definitely be back!

Disappointment
With my partner and my 8-month-old daughter, we booked this last-minute hotel for a day trip, intrigued by the fact that it was a family-friendly establishment. At first impression, this was confirmed: play areas both indoors and outdoors, an indoor pool usable by children, and a large outdoor garden with 2 "natural" pools. Given the heat of the day (forecasted), we asked (assuming that in a 4-star establishment it would be present) if there was air conditioning in the room and a fridge: to our great surprise, neither was available! We were provided with the last small portable fan (probably the issue had been raised by other families), and regarding the fridge, one of the waitresses told us that there was a kitchen available on the first floor for parents (with a small fridge already very full and without a freezer).
The only night spent in the facility was terrible: the portable fan ran out of battery almost immediately, and aside from not sleeping, my daughter cried all night from the heat, and I had to make multiple trips to the kitchen (due to the lack of a refrigerator in the room) to get both milk and something cool.
When it came time to pay the bill, we pointed out that the night spent without these two services (which, in a 4-star hotel, should always be available) was terrible: we were told that in the entire Carinthia area, most hotels lack air conditioning in the rooms. If this is indeed true, it is quite serious, and I believe the hotel should provide fans at least in sufficient numbers to ensure the comfort (and health) of the guests in such cases. I would have expected, not for merely economic reasons but as a gesture of apology, at least a small discount, which did not happen.
Clearly, this will be the last time I set foot in this facility.

Ski time
Hotel staff is is very helpfull, apartmans in hotel are very big and spaceous, with modern furniture and kitchen,location is ok,only 15 min by car to Bad Klinekirchen ski traks, food is ok, but wather in in swimming pool is to cold and not comfortable.

Nice family stay
We went to this hotel for a short break, with intention to be near skiing area, in a family friendly hotel, with low price.
We got what we wanted. We stayed in an appartment, with small kitchen and an additional room. Room was clean, furnished in '80. The only negative side was the bathroom - small, difficult for bathing two small children, with some mold on the window.
The hotel offers buffet breakfast, with selection of cut meats, cheese, butter and excelent homemade marmelade. The offer did not vary much during our short stay.
Dinner was a choice of three menus, different each night, menus for children. Food was above our expectations, really tasty, with fast servings even when the restaurant was crowded.
Swimmingpool is actualy more of a large bathtub, but enough for small childred to swimm around a bit. Water had nice temperature, not cold but neither hot.
There is a small wellness with saunas, but with so much to do in a short time, we didn't visited it.
Hotel has a playground outside, but it was covered with snow, so it is impossible to describe.There is also a playroom that our children enjoyed, with climbing wall, drawing materials, wooden boat and 'tree house', table soccer. There were also some workshops for older children and a cinema in the evening.
Lobby is smal, but with comfortable chairs and a fireplace with a fire in the evening.
On the negative side, the walls could use some renovation, also the windows are not completely isolated, so there was some draft. Elevator was cold, so the way from the pool to the room wasn't much fun. As the elevator is near the frontdoor that open automaticly you were either cold in the elevator or cold when passing near the door to the staircase.
Staff was very kind at all times, always willing to help out. We also asked for a baby package and we got everything we needed for the children.
It was a nice stay with a low price. It would be nice to visit in summer as ther is a lake a walking distance away and according to pictures a small pond in the garden

Not quite friendly
This is a rather new hotel without particular Austrian appeal. We were given an apartment rather than the requested junior suite, which was larger than our request but was located on the ground floor with no view. The village is not particularly attractive, whereas the free skibus to the lively Bad Kleinkirchheim was much appreciated. The swimming pool is tiny, the sauna area is fine, other wellness service are charged extra. Food was OK except for desserts; the staff was not especially friendly. Sleep quality was good.
What annoyed us most is that on our earlier check-out we had to pay half price for last booked unused night although we gave 24-hour notice. While Austrian hotel regulations apparently enforce this rule, this discourages future stays at this hotel.
