The best hotel of 22 years hiking holidays for a walking group

For the second time we have stayed in this hotel with a Walking Association of 52 walkers. We have been organizing travel holidays to Austria and South Tyrol for 22 years.
In all areas this is already the best hotel we had. Superb rooms, excellent cuisine, very friendly management and staff, very nice walking environment, very favorable prices and very successful renewed decor. I couldn't think of a minus. No participant in this stay had a single comment.
This is where the home feeling really is!

Home from home!

Spent 6 nights at the Alpenhotel Wurzer and absolutely loved it! It was a great base to explore the stunning area around Filzmoos. The hotel has a lovely dining and bar area that are tastefully decorated and candlelit in the evenings. There’s a large terrace with plenty comfortable seating and some beautiful views. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom well laid out.
Shout out to the staff who were hardworking and incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was such a pleasure to come ‘home’ after a day out hiking. The food, (breakfast and dinner), were of a good quality and the Hugo spritzes, delicious!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel - we had the best experience

The hotel is just great as well as the surroundings !!

a recommendable hotel with good value for money

Newly renovated, everything very stylish with wood, triple room very spacious, absolutely clean,
the breakfast is very good for a 3-star hotel: including egg dishes freshly prepared on request, hot drinks from the machine, half board recommended: extensive salad buffet, 3-course menu of choice, everything very plentiful, you will be more than full;
particularly worth mentioning is the extraordinary friendliness of the boss, who lends a hand himself and takes care of many things, and of the staff at reception and in the restaurant; central location in the town, yet quiet

Lovely Chalet Stay

Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful place. The owners were so caring and nice and went out of their way to make everything perfect. Nice breakfast in the morning which was well stocked. The dinner was good as well. Large room with a balcony. I hope to come back some day.
