Good value for money

We stayed at this recently renovated hotel twice within a month. The rooms differed in size (yet the price was the same) but they were both newly refurbished, with spacious bathroom, comfortable beds, powerful AC and good WiFi. Breakfast was excellent, great range and plentiful. Coffee could have been better though, but everything else was very good..

Bad experience

Spending 1 night . We arrived to the hotel at 19:00 asking free room. Man from the Bar told us that they have a free room and price is 80€.In the morning another man on reseption told my wife that the price is 120€. He shouted to us that we need to pay 120€. We asked him to call man who worked yesterday. He never did that. Finally we paid 83€ and ” ran away ”
I have travelled thousands of hotel and that was worst behavior I have ever seen...
And the hotel. Weinhotel??? In the Bar men drank beer and smoked ( is it still alloved in Europe smoke inside ??? )
Asking chardonney white wine, smoker bartender looked me that they have 2 bottle of white wine and he did not know enything about chardonney

Unfriendly and low quality

We will not be staying again. Hot and like being in the middle of a bar where locals and owners care little for guests. Price is good but overall quality of experience is very poor. Breakfast was crowded with many dishes empty.

Going home

On the road back to home, I found on TripAdvisor this beautiful place . I was surprised by this hotel . Everything is new , the owner Daniel is a great guy . Also the dinner was good and the breakfast very good, full of everything!
Thank you Daniel!
I travel in Europe by car 4-5 times by year and for sure I will be happy to stay here every time.

Two night stay in wine resort Gols

The Hotel is located in the middle of the village Gols, and it is good point for starting your trips around the Neusiedler See. In Gols there is located around 250 winehouses and you can taste all of their products in the information centre, where is the wine bar and shop, try it and you will see. You can park your car in the front of the hotel on the street. The personal talks german (what surprise) :-) and also english. The rooms are clean, they are equiped with air condition and super modern massage shower box. The bed is aslo comfortable, it was equiped with hard mattrass, which I like. During nights we didn´t hear some noises, maybe because our room had the window to the yard, so the sleep was ok. The breakfest was combination of english and continental style and was very rich and varied. Especially the strudels are delicious. At our stay there were some reconstructions of the hotel, but we were not disturbed by them. I can recomend this hotel for your stay. Unfortunately I didn´t try their own wine and kitchen, because we went back from our trips late, so maybe next time.
