Beautiful. Very nice hosts.

Beautiful central location. Very very nice hosts. We felt very comfortable. Very short distance to the ski lifts. Great breakfast with fresh egg dishes and a delicious 3 course menu on New Year's Eve. Thank you.

An extremely family-run hotel where you just feel comfortable!

Very nice family run hotel in the beautiful mountains of Großarl.
No matter if it is the senior manager Sepp with his Maria as well as the young successors Florian and his Daniela, everyone is trying to do their best and they succeed.
The breakfast buffet has everything your heart desires, whether it is drinks or food.
In the evening you can choose between 3 different menus and the quality is excellent.
If you sit down with Sepp after dinner, he always has funny words on his lips.
Afterwards you spend the night in a very nice and clean room with a view of the magnificent mountains.
My wife and I did not miss anything during our stay at Hotel Gratz and therefore we will come back next year!

Holiday to feel good

We had been looking for accommodation in Großarl at very short notice. I came to the Hotel Gratz because of the great reviews.
We were not disappointed!!
Great, very friendly hosts as well as the entire family and staff.
You were always provided with good hiking tips as desired.
Everything very clean, good selection at breakfast and dinner was also top!
Even the very nicely designed wellness area leaves nothing to be desired!
We will definitely come back!!! :-)

I really enjoyed my short stay at Hotel Gratz. The sauna was fantastic and really helped me recover after doing an ultramarathon (which is why I traveled to the area). I also appreciated the hotel offering me early breakfast on the day of my race so I could get some food in advance.
Note that the rooms (at least the one I stayed in) don't have kettles so you can't make your own coffee/tea. Breakfast does usually have a bit of a late start time (8:00) so something to consider if you're an early riser and like a morning beverage.

Your family in Grossarl :)

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is perfectly equipped for families – the rooms have blackout curtains, there is a great playroom for different age groups (from large Lego blocks to a climbing wall), and next to the playroom there is a fantastic sauna with three types of saunas, which even children can enjoy.
The staff were extremely helpful and always ready to advise or assist, whether it was tips for trips or small things during our stay (we borrowed a kettle and an extra pillow). Our entire vacation had a friendly and warm atmosphere, we felt really welcome, like visiting family. :)
