When reviewing, you should always keep in mind what kind of establishment you are talking about and evaluate its services depending on how it looks - and how much it asks.
Now, I've read here some frankly unfair things. This little hotel, where I return for the third time, is a modest 3star not near the center - but with good legs it is a matter of 20 min. "Bad area" says someone, so it didn't seem to me: simply an anonymous area, not touristy, residential, of people who get up early and go to work. Certainly a little Noise level from the nearby road - currently closed for works - but we have not seen situations of degradation, bad people etc...
The rooms are simply furnished, clean, we did not smell smoke or see pierced curtains. Austrian breakfast, that is salty + sweet, certainly basic but enough to have the right calories for the first stretch of the day.
For some years now in the same building there is this "Café Comeback", a simple place frequented by... simple locals.
The price is cheap just had regard to the sobriety of the type of offer. Those who want more must open their wallets more in a tourist area like Klagenfurt.

Not to be repeated.

The price is good, but without any comfort; it was not very clean, breakfast was poor with very little choice, the bathtub was broken during the shower, the bathroom flooded, and there was no mini refrigerator.
I certainly do not recommend revisiting the management; the only good thing is the convenient parking.

Friendly little hotel

Due to the renovation jam actually only 3 stars . However, the value for money and the extremely friendly nature of Owners makes a lot of bets. Not a holiday hotel , rather a through hotel. We say thank you and greetings from Soltau.

Not willing to help or discuss

We have reserved a stay in the hotel ( with free cancellation till a week before) and 5 days before the stay (2 days after end of free cancellation period) our song got sick and the hospital told us that we can't travel with him but the hotel has no understanding by any means even to change the date. And charged us with full fees for the reservation.
I sent a request over mail, called through the phone and all is the same.
Never again and I expect this intolerance also applies to the whole service there that there is no welcoming manner by any means.
Even the phone operator responded without any compassion (you want to cancel? No you must pay)and she didn't want to continue on with the call even further!

Price-performance more than inadequate

The hotel is OK, but the facilities are poor. Sockets and shower rods are hanging out of the wall, spider webs on the windows and doors, doors barely close, and the cheapest industrial cheese is served for breakfast... far too expensive for that
