Very nice - with reservations

The location right on the lake is a dream. It is a quiet and very idyllic hotel to relax and enjoy. The service is definitely worthy of 5 stars. The service staff from Slovakia in particular are absolutely top notch: nice, friendly, charming, attentive and 100% competent. The point deduction is due to the unimaginative, unloving and unvaried breakfast buffet. Despite the seasonal fruit abundance in August, there is only standard fruit here such as melon, pineapple, orange and kiwi. And a deluxe room that costs over 500 EUR including breakfast should at least have a shower.

Hrozné místo s hrozným personálem

Personál v tomto hotelu je hrozný - nejhorší recepční, jakou jsme kdy potkali. Poté, co jsme v hotelu zůstali 3 noci a odhlásili se brzy ráno (abychom jim udělali laskavost, aby mohli vyčistit místnosti), chtěla moje žena použít polední sprchu na pláži, aby se osvěžila. I když ráno bylo potvrzeno, že můžeme použít sprchu, kabina byla zamčena. Když jsme požádali o otevření kabiny, recepční vstoupila do akce a řekla nám, že „nechtěla, aby se nám zařízení zašpinila, a proto by neotevřela sprchu. Když jsme ji požádali o odůvodnění, odpověď byla „protože to nechci“. Byli jsme tak šokováni. Nikdy jsme se nesetkali s osobou, která je méně kvalifikovaná pro práci v hotelu, než tento ubohý recepční. Účtují 600 EUR / noc. Zařízení se neuchovávají v zkuste se tomuto zámku Frankenstein vyhnout.

Velmi špatné místo

Pěkné místo, ale ne tam. Najděte jiné místo. Restaurace má opravdu špatné služby. Jídlo bylo mizerné, stejně jako služba. Studená kuchyně bez jakéhokoli vkusu. Museli jsme čekat 45 minut na hlavní chod. Ruda a krutý straff bez zkušeností. Přehnané. Strávte čas a peníze někde jinde. Prosím.

Disrespect and misconduct of management

For almost 20 years we have been loyal guests of the Haus am Mondsee.
We always recommended the Seehof to friends and acquaintances and spent nice moments there.
It is all the more disappointing that we have had to make repeated experiences that are completely unworthy of a house of this class, already in the past there have been unnecessary confrontations with the then receptionist and current managing director Mrs. Petra K.R. unfortunately, this negative picture is now also continuing with her husband, who bears responsibility in the restaurant.
The behavior was not only rude to us, but highly aggressive, primitive, inappropriate and offensive.
The level of disrespect that has now been shown to us there is simply unacceptable.
The planned family holiday was thus completely destroyed .
A house that should live on hospitality cannot afford such behavior, which has come of age in every respect without it. There is absolutely no longer any question of a five-star rating.
This not only scares away long-time guests like us, but also risks losing future visitors.
We cannot avoid openly addressing our experiences in the circle of friends and acquaintances.
For us, only the consequence remains to turn our backs on the Seehof

Holidays with forced clothes – disappointment despite beautiful outdoor facilities

At dinner, a waiter points out to you that as a man you have to wear long pants. However, this is not communicated to you before you arrive, and if, like me, you simply do not have long pants with you, you are denied food on the outside terrace. In order not to irritate the milieu of the "longsuit wearers" or to cause a stir with male calves, one is directed into the interiors to eat there in poorly ventilated rooms.
The fact that my wife died in the 9th. I'm afraid it wasn't worth an exception. There are, of course, no dress regulations for women on an equal footing.
However, it must be approved that changing the half board to breakfast was not a problem.
So get out in the car and happily go looking for a restaurant yourself.
Breakfast, where no dress rules apply, is pretty paltry for this price range. The service staff (primarily the young ladies) was very nice and attentive.
The facility itself is otherwise really nice on the outside.
Great for swimming in the moon lake.
Inside, the decor seems, probably in keeping with the prevailing mentality, like somewhere from the 70s. Even the evening room service, in which the blankets are opened and a bed-hopper is placed, is more reminiscent of bygone times. Sustainability when changing towels several times a day is also rather questionable.
You probably rely mainly on the good location directly on the lake, otherwise little performance for a lot of money.
Wouldn't recommend it and will of course never come back.
