Paradisiacal
A paradise! No cars. No noise. Only unheard bird songs. Top-notch cuisine. Fantastic breakfast. Very friendly staff. Shuttle boat always ready. The stay at the island hotel is an experience!!

Nice hotel with small problems.
Overall it was a wonderful holiday: relaxing, quiet, almost perfect. With idyllic location, great food, nice staff.
Will we be back? Most likely, yes.
BUT!
Without elevator - very steep stairs; without air conditioning - we were lucky with over 30° outside, was in the room, like in sauna; without window grill - in the heat without air conditioning we had to skip windows and were bribed with mosquitoes all over our body. Not pretty.
Unfortunately, the house is somewhat dated, even for the high demands for 4 stars. Without fridge, without kettle, mattress printed through.
On Sunday due to day guests, the beach and complex were crowded and over with peace.
Very positive that staff was very eager to clarify our requests immediately: a fan, small fridge. Commendable!
Great compliment for the food, it exceeded our expectations. Whether this was due to the presence of the hotel owner with the family in time, or the kitchen is always so perfect, is up to question. But we were totally satisfied.
Special experience was 21. Island swim. Great idea, nice entertainment for big and small. The more bitter it was at the award ceremony. Our grandson finished 3rd but was not rewarded with cup. They say other criteria were used. We have an unpleasant taste that the prizes were awarded to well-known and long-standing participants. Schade.
Recommendation:
Window grid is a "must" because of mosquitoes.
-Procure mobile air conditioners for rooms. Affordable and effective.
-Slightly more to ensure the evening entertainment of guests. Small fireplace round, fine classical music etc.
-Day guests reduce number. If hotel wants to score with tranquility and exclusive location, mass tourism should not be pursued.
CONCLUSION: we enjoyed the time, despite small problems with room. Like I said, we're thinking about coming back.

Very beautifully situated.
I was received very hospitably and very kindly. The hotel is really very beautiful. I will definitely come back here. I can recommend this very nice hotel to everyone. On their own website you can clearly see and read what they have to offer. It's really great.

The customer service at this hotel was terrible! To simplify to a couple words "They didn't give a s***".
1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. We were lucky enough to walk down to the dock and the boat was thankfully still running. BUT if the boat had not been we would've had to get another hotel or sleep in the car. Terrible communication from the hotel.
2. One of the beds had stains, dirt and hair. It took 4 calls to the front desk for them to send someone to change the sheets.
3. The check-in process was terrible, we were not notified about any of the amenities that were included in our stay at the property.
4. The front desk service and restaurant service was terrible. The restaurant staff took more than 15 min to come to the table. We had paid for half board and they did not notify us of the extra options other than the buffet that were also included (eggs, pancakes). They even overcharged us on one of the bills.
Overall, it was a terrible experience and the service was horrible.

Lovely setting
Wonderful classic hotel reached by a private boat across a turquoise lake. Rooms are large and comfortable, and the food was amazing. Really enjoyed the meals we were able to have on the terrace. There is a private beach and guests can use the windsurfer or SUP's. It's a small island and you can walk on a primitive trail to the other end. Good cycling and walking trails right from the boat launch.
