Very nice owners, excelent value, close to the slopes

The best part about this hotel is how nice the two ladies (mother & daughter?-) are. Nothing is a problem, the service is great and I also appriciate all the thoughful details.
Rooms are spacious, cosy and clean. Also there was very good breakfast and dinner.
The hotel also has a nice sauna. I think that the value here is great for the price.
What initialy made me to choose this hotel though, was its location. Is about 1 km to the slopes of the Innerkrems ski area, which has "only" about 40kms of slopes, but its excelent for experienced skiers and there is very little people.
You can either drive the distance, or the skibus stop is in front of the hotel and you can get back via 4km long skiroute, which takes you directly back to the hotel.

Lovely stay, wonderful host & very clean

We stayed at Zirbenhof between Christmas and New Year. The room had comfortable beds and was very quiet with a view on the mountain. The room and all the other facilities in the hotel were very clean and well maintained. Furniture maybe somewhat outdated but functional, for us a non-issue. The biggest asset of the hotel is the family that runs it. They are very welcoming and always ready to help out with special requests. We had half board with excellent breakfast buffet and good dinners. There is a sauna on site and you can ski from the mountain all the way to the hotel. Skibus stops in front, you will not need your car. In case you think you need a bigger ski resort, Katschberg is only 20 minutes by car. All in all, perfect stay, excellent value for money and would love to go back.

Hübsche Pension an der Nockalmstrasse

Wir haben uns für eine Woche im Zirbenhof eingemietet und sind sehr glücklich mit unserer Wahl. Die Pension ist durch die Familie mit viel Herz geführt. Die Zimmer sind picobello sauber und die Mitarbeiter wahnsinnig freundlich und aufmerksam. Noch dazu ist der Zimmerpreis sehr günstig. Unser Hund ist im Hotel willkommen.
Die direkte Lage an der Nockalmstrasse ist ideal für Ausflüge mit Auto oder Motorrad. Geeignet für Familien, Hundebesitzer und Wanderer.
Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Familienbetrieb für Reisende

ideal neben der mautstelle der nockalm strasse gelegen. die begrüßung war freundlich und professionell. wir haben vorher telefonisch kontakt gehabt und so wurde ich gleich mit namen angesprochen.dies zog sich den ganzen abend durch, zum erstaunen der gäste die allesamt motorradreisende waren.
das haus ist in die jahre gekommen, ist aber
sauber, aufgeräumt und man merkt die familie lebt für und von dem haus.
tochter und mutter führen den betrieb.

Kurzaufenthalt

Auf unserer Reise nach Kroatien, machten wir einen Zwischenstopp in Kärnten. Inmitten einer beeindruckenden Berglandschaft liegendes ,familiär geführtes, Hotel. Die Austattung der großen Zimmer kann man als Urig bezeichnen. Ein großer Balkon für uns und unseren Hund war am Zimmer auch dran. Das Wasser zum Duschen war ein wenig Kühl aber dafür auch glasklar und ich glaube frisch aus dem Gletscher. Das Personal war sehr gastfreundlich und sehr bemüht alle unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Auch die Küche war sehr lecker. Hier einen Zwischenstopp einzulegen kann ich empfehlen. Für einen etwa 14 tägigen Aufenhalt ,wäre es mir viel zu abgelegen und ruhig. Aber das ist ausschließlich mein Persönlicher Geschmack.
