I had booked a room for two nights for mid-April many months ago. Worth mentioning is the fact that it is the absolute low season, ie there are already many hotels closed at this time.
Due to a family thing, I shortened the stay by one night five days before the trip. From two to one night.
I was informed that I still have to pay 90% of the normal price for this cancelled room. I felt that was a lot and also told the hotel. Hoping that I might be able to get one on the spot.
Despite two nice inquiries on my part, one remained tough.
I don’t travel that often, but some of my friends I told the episode have encouraged me and that’s also why I write this.

amazing that i could get my ski pass from the friendly reception and rent skis from the hotel itself and store skis in the lockers by the hotel bar. staff were amazing. it is a short walk to the ski lifts. beds were comfortable but soft and the only thing missing was an espresso machine and kettle in the room. Staff were amazing.

Memorable experience.

Our stay at Hotel Edelweiss in Zürs am Arlberg was truly exceptional — honestly, we have rarely experienced such a perfect getaway. From the very first moment, everything felt just right. The atmosphere, the interior design, the warmth of the welcome — it all came together beautifully.
The ambiance of the hotel is both stylish and inviting, with a unique and playful character that makes it stand out. The decor is wonderfully distinctive, full of personality and thoughtful details. The “stay sexy” concept is carried through to perfection — refined, bold, and executed with great taste.
The quality of the bar and restaurant was outstanding. Every dish was prepared to a high standard, and the bar offered a fantastic selection in a setting that made you want to linger just a little longer each evening. It’s clear that quality and experience are top priorities here.
Most of all, we want to thank the management and the entire team. The service was impeccable — professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. You can feel the passion and pride throughout the hotel.
We will definitely be booking our stay again for next year. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

We were lucky enough to be able to book three rooms. We arrived late. It was despite the late arrival at the bar staff who helped. Checking in worked without any problems. The whole hotel has a very special charm, which should be allowed unchanged. The house has an exceptionally good leadership, which is reflected in all employees. The Dachshunds Hannelore and Irmgard thank you for the offered “walking.” come back very gladly and recommend the hotel absolutely. Thank you for upgrading the rooms - the Monkey Suite was megaaaaaaaaa
