Friendly hosts and great stay at the lake

Perfect starting point on the lake, beach resort in 3 min walking distance. Very good breakfast, friendly hosts and rooms very clean - value for money:) We can only recommend the accommodation! Come safely back to the Pesentheinerhof :)

Great view

The hotel is in a good location, the lake is nearby and the only restaurant... the lake bar too. Otherwise everything is a few kilometers away and there is nothing in the hotel in the evening.
The house and the rooms are very old, they have tried to make it more beautiful with a few cosmetic changes. The breakfast was a little carelessly prepared, but the view of the lake was beautiful.
The two ladies were very friendly, but they can't do everything.

Amazing and beautiful

I can’t begin to describe what a wonderful Hotel this is. The owners are always around seeking to assist their patrons with anything necessary.
I can’t remember sleeping on a more comfortable bed!
Breakfast is absolutely amazing and the Lake is beautiful.
Wish we could stay for a month!
Stay here, you will not regret it.

What a great place to stay!
Our church group of 14 stayed here for 10 nights. (We served at a missions conference at the Heroldeck castle down the street.)
This is a wonderful place that is ran by two sweet ladies. (Simone & her mother, Gerda)You can just tell that they put their heart into their work. They work very long hours and they’re so very nice! Everything is perfectly clean and well-maintained. Our room was very basic without air conditioning or a fan. They gave us a kettle when they saw that we had needs for early morning instant coffee.
My favorite place was the patio. The WiFi worked best there, too There were several places to sit that felt special and inviting. It was a wonderful place to relax as we ate our delicious breakfast.. They offer a huge breakfast with so many great choices. I enjoyed the warm scrambled eggs to start my day. We could often smell the fresh baked breads in our room early in the morning. There were cheeses and lunch meats, jams, yogurts and toppings, etc. You can tell that I was a happy big breakfast eater!
Once, I caught myself getting a little bit loud, (like a loud America). I gasped and excused myself. Then Gerda said “oh, it’s not a hospital” That made me smile & feel so much better!
Right across the street is a beautiful walking / bike path that runs along the Millstatt lake.
Con: road noise but earplugs helped. Poor WiFi in the room.
This accommodation is very well run. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a location by the lake, a good clean basic room, a great breakfast & very nice smiling ladies!
