Located directly on the town hall square in the heart of the historic old town of the Free City of Rust, nestled in a building from the late 17th century. Free public parking is available directly by the hotel, numerous restaurants and wine taverns are reachable within a walking distance. The non-smoking guest rooms feature air conditioning, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, solid wood furniture, wooden floors and a bathroom with a shower. Fruit and chilled mineral water are available free of charge. Breakfast with a selection of regional products is served daily in the guest room or the terrace directly on Rathausplatz. The Lake Neusiedl is 1.4 km, bike rental 100 m (direct Radwegenetz-connection), Familypark 3 km, Opera Festival St. Margarethen 4 km, Seefestspiele Mörbisch 6 km, Designer Outlet Parndorf 32 km, Vienna 60 km and Bratislava 70 km away. A very friendly hotel

The room was very nice and clean, you have plenty of space. At the reception, we were welcomed very warmly and our requests were fulfilled. Breakfast is served at the table by a very friendly lady and left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night; I would have liked to stay longer. The restaurant is also recommended.

Nice hotel in the center of Rust

We were at Hotel Schandl for three days during the festival season. The reception and care provided by Mr. Alfred Grasitz were perfect. Room and breakfast left nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly. You feel right at home.

Top in Rust!

Excellent location, large breakfast, extremely diligent and competent staff, very nice and quiet rooms with air conditioning. Top!

Perfect stay in Rust

Alfred is a brilliant host, as well as the kitchen team, who cook up a good variety of hot and cold breakfasts to suit your needs.
Very accommodating team, well presented rooms with all the amenities you need for a stay in Rust.
Conveniently located directly opposite Heidi Schröck's winery as well, which is well worth visiting for a tasting!

Stay in the center of the lovely vine village of Rust

The hotel is located in the center of Rust. An original town house has been renovated by the owner family with a lot of love and taste. This gives you the opportunity to stay with all comfort and tradition at the same time.
You will be served an excellent breakfast with local food, not in the common buffet style. You will like it, giving you more time with your loved ones.
Around the hotel, within five minutes of walk, you will find several local restaurants and wine bars. The owner family also does have a wine yard and a wine bar serving a good variety of slow food and the wine from their own Vineyard.
From the location of the hotel you can do sightseeing, bicycling, sailing, bird watching... Ask the owner, he does have plenty of ideas and advise.
All together this was an unforgettable stay for us. We hope to return soon.
