We would recommend

Free parking, although limited (i got the last space at 4pm). Large modern room. Wellness area was nice, although the indoor pool can get a little busy. Breakfast was good. Bar was relaxing in the evening. I would stay again. Nice town, lots to do and see even though it is smallish. We also got a great last minute price. Thanks

The Hotel itself was very nice. The Bed was ok. Everything was clean. There was a language barrier between me and the clerk who could not understand everything we asked her. We called the desk several times and got no answer from the office. The restaurant closed very early on Saturday night and the Matre'd was not very accommodating. The Spa was nice and Nick did an outstanding job as our masseuse! Overall it was good but not great!

Never again this hotel!!!!!

Positives:
The room was very nicely renovated and clean.
But that's it with the positive side of this 4-star hotel.
Negatives:
The restaurant service is a complete disaster.
At breakfast, the whole staff of the service treated themselves to coffee from the coffee machine in front of the guests. Guests had to queue in the back and wait until everyone had their coffee.
For dinner there was a dish for the main course which would be normal in a 4-star hotel an appetizer.
Just one example of pasta with zucchini and shrimp. The whole thing was still swimming in the pasta water and had zero taste.
The salad buffet was cheeky. 3 green salads and a tomato salad.
The drinks are overpriced. A white and sweet is € 7.20. But the bad thing was that instead of the white and sweet, we got a white and sour. After the complaint to the waiter we got the same glass filled with sprite and diluted with ice cubes. Of course, there was nothing left to taste of the wine.
In addition, the staff could not speak German only English, which made it even more complicated for many guests.
The plates piled up on our table until dessert, but they were still not cleared.
Unbelievable what you experience in this hotel.
The outdoor spa was more of a construction site.
The spiral staircase that leads to the outdoor area was totally dirty and full of paint splashes, since they probably tried to paint over the staircase.
A bucket and a ladder also stood in the way.
The atmosphere at the hot tub was rather cold and also with a view to craftsman's utensils.
In addition, the hot tub was too cold. We were given 30 degrees - we could only dream of that.
In the sauna area, no towels were laid on and in the relaxation room you could constantly hear the loud noises of the technical room. Relaxation was therefore also not possible.
We can not recommend this hotel.

Maintenance needed

Difficult communicating with the staff due to language problems in both English and German. Most of the locks on the lockers in the ski room were not working. Sauna kept switching itself off. Batteries in my safe had not been replaced so couldn’t be operated. Switch operating the heating in my room was broken so could not adjust the heat in my room . Staff were not able to resolve negotiated discount that had been agreed when I booked my room.
