Amazing Experience

Amazing rooms in city centre near to stadpark. Had a wonderful experience in breakfast in restaurant with Nihar and his Team.

on trend Luxury that works

The entire experience can be described as “Perfect On Trend Luxury” in 2026. What makes it such a great place?
Design - Modern, stylish, practical, clever (think of it as a blend of MOHG and W but executed very well). If you love art - book the Klimt suite and you save your visit to a museum. Choice of materials and usability are way better than more expensive competitors around the same location.
Service - Real attentive through all departments. Not staged or fake - it comes natural and the team is a happy bunch of people. Some natural leaders in various areas and a place that works generally very well. Pro-active approach by most contact points in front office and restaurant. Very responsive in housekeeping and bell services. Sample: we required a doctor during our stay and within two hours we had one of the most professional and best equipped MD’s we encountered in 45 years of travel around the globe.
Food - Breakfast was excellent and any special request was addressed.
Loyalty Program - A member of GHA (Global Hotel Alliance)that is a very clever and rewarding program
Location: Perfect for exploring the city by foot and/or public transport
Price/Value - one of the best in Vienna
This could be an upcoming “jewel” and they have more properties coming online …..

Great position

Great rooms, comfy beds, tidy, clean and well appointed. Breakfast staff not super friendly and the service was badly organised. Buffet was hit and miss.
Front desk, doormen and maintenance staff excellent.

Excellent staff

Loved this hotel. The staff was outstanding. Especially grateful for Yelena and Melita who were both so friendly and helpful. We loved our rooms which were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast each day was delicious. The hotel location is very convenient. Definitely recommend this fabulous hotel.

A True Gem

The Almanac is a beautiful hotel, superbly located opposite a stunning park that sets the tone the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably maintained — exactly what you’d hope for from a property of this calibre.
What truly sets The Almanac apart, however, is its service. From the warmth and efficiency of the reception team at check-in and check-out, to the knowledgeable concierge who seamlessly planned our sightseeing and handled reservations with ease, every interaction felt genuinely attentive rather than merely professional. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention too — quiet, thorough, and always one step ahead.
Breakfast is a highlight in its own right — sumptuous, varied, and a cut above what you’d find at most hotels in the city, delivered with the same impeccable service that defines the entire stay.
Vienna has no shortage of fine hotels, but The Almanac earns its place among the very best. A true gem, and one we would return to without hesitation.
