Totally restful

We have stayed at Elounda Island Villas many times and will definitely return again.
The location is perfect, away from it all but still an easy walk across the causeway into town where there are numerous restaurants and bars but it is never noisy.
We stayed in V10 which has a private roof terrace, although all the villas are private, intimate and very clean.
We love getting back to basics and catering for ourselves but the on-site cafe for breakfast, snacks and cakes is very welcome.
Leda and her staff are so accommodating and helpful, and do ask to look at Leda’s artwork, it’s amazing. There are also art installations around the gardens and these are worth exploring.
We just love it here. Totally restful.

Tranquil and so very beautiful

In our opinion this is the most perfect location for a holiday. Elounda Island is beautiful and peaceful, and a short walk or drive across the causeway takes you to the centre with shops and a wide variety of tavernas.
The accommodation is very comfortable and each villa has wonderful balconies to overlook the sea.
The hosts and other staff are helpful and charming, nothing is too much trouble.
If you're looking for tranquility this is definitely the place to stay.

Our ideal holidays!

My husband and I visited Elounda Island Villas in July 2025. For us, it is the perfect place for a real vacation. It is located in the bay of Elounda, close to the village but in complete peace. The sea is in front of its garden, ideal for a cool dive before breakfast. We spent the whole days in our swimsuits, from our terrace to the beach, relaxing. The apartments are very spacious and cool, with a stunning view to the bay and the sunset. The hosts are very hospitable, they fulfilled our requests with kindness. Another uniqueness of the place is the presence of the art gallery on site, with artworks by the owner, who from time to time holds art exhibitions with high artistic value. We will continue to visit it, and fill ourselves with experiences, renewal and joy for life.

Thank you for letting me exist, for a moment, inside a living poem.

you become something softer here—
something slower, truer, almost dreamlike.
Elounda Island Villas,
you are not simply a place to stay,
but a feeling that lingers long after departure—
salt on skin, light in memory,
the hush of water against stone at dusk.
Here, architecture does not impose—
it listens.
It blends with wind, with rock, with endless blue,
as if art itself decided to rest by the Aegean.
Every corner feels curated by silence and intention,
every view a dialogue between elegance and nature,
as though the island and design
agreed on a shared language of beauty.
I cherish this space—
its sophistication without noise,
its artistry without effort,
its rare and unspoken uniqueness

Great place

We spent a night in this wonderful place. Direct view of the sea and Elounda.
The room had a balcony with two chairs and a table.
A beautiful beach is located 30 minutes walk.
The bedding was comfortable.
The lack of air conditioning is replaced by a fan which is quite appreciable.
In short an excellent stay
