Second time in a year.

Second time at Hotel Paradies in Ammoudia. Nice staff/owner. They arranged a rental car quickly and easily at a good price. Good food in the restaurant. Breakfast perfectly ok even for us vegetarians. Missing green tea though. Good beach with free sunbeds if you buy something. (€12 cost the chairs on another beach even if you bought something).
Good cleaning. Desired room on lower level to get more cool. It was easily arranged.
Negative. It was not possible to pay by card.

Rather Hell hotel than Paradise hotel!

+ Was closeness to beach, ok lunch/dinner food, and the amazing food/drink delivery boy the hotel had on the beach! Also free sunbeds if you buy food/drink
- Crappy AC, only working (and poorly) when you are in your room. If you leave chip in when you are out, cleaning crew will give chip to the boss. Worst bed i have ever slept in. extreamly hard bed and pillow. Breakfast really poor/boring but could have been saved with some ok bread, this seemd to be 3 day old at least :( This is rated as 4 star so you need to pay additional 49 Euro/week in tax. This is as far from a 4 star as any hotel have ever been. 2 star is even questionable. Dirty walls and floor. broken windows, and tape on wall, window pipes, tubes and cords everywear. Dirty plates, cups and glasses for breakfast. Worst of all is manager and reseption, least service minded hotel people i have ever met!

Nice Hotel

We had a nice 1 week stay at the Paradise Hotel.
Room: Nice and large which was cleaned nicely every day
Breakfast: Nothing lavish, but OK as a start to the day. Bread, fruit, eggs, coffee, tea, juice, etc
Pool: Nice little pool.
Wifi: Not the best quality. Don't expect to be able to stream in the room with the hotel WIFI.
Beach: Good beach with delicious water. Located 100 meters from the hotel. Lots of free sunbeds, and you could order various ones from a young man who brought one.
Transport: Bus runs from Ammoudia to Parga 4 times a day. Costs 3 Euros per person and is paid to the driver. Taxi to Parga costs fixed price 25 Euro. On certain days you can also take the boat, which costs 15 Euro per person for the return trip.
Ammoudia: Small beach town with 10-15 eateries/bars. Prices very reasonable. Dinner for two with house wine costs around 35-40 euros.

Great AC "overshadow" that the beds were a little harder.

Hard beds (No major problem though), very good AC, nice staff, nice hotel, good breakfast, close to the beach!
Minus for 3 euros per night in hotel tax which we found out on the last day before we were going home would be paid and lowers the rating from a 4a to a 3a

Paradise Hotel Ammoudia

good hotel. a bit boring breakfast. the pool could have been cleaned more often. very short way to the beach, plus for free sunbeds. good food otherwise at the hotel. The beach is shallow and child-friendly. wifi was very poor, couldn't get it to work in the room at all.
