Very friendly family running the hotel. Very safe. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place away from the busy and congested areas. Only 8 minute drive to the nearest beach town.

Unfortunately not worth a second visit
However, there are some points why we would not visit the hotel again:
- Only the bare essentials, is unfortunately commonplace here and can be felt thoroughly. Starting from breakfast to the rooms where the "electricity card" is removed by the staff to save costs. The fact that it turns off the air conditioning and you return to a 37-degree hot room every day may still be acceptable to some, but that everything you keep in the fridge is no longer cooled is really annoying.
In addition, the entire hallway is also not air-conditioned.
- Food and drinks:
Breakfast is unfortunately only the absolute standard, my highlight was the watermelon. Otherwise only the most necessary and packaged or baked cakes and pastries. Nothing authentically Greek (Tiropyta or Bougatsa), except for the yogurt, which you can't take yourself. You only get a small bowl on demand. No freshly cut fruit just a large bowl of fruit to peel ourselves, but we gave up after two days, as half the fruit was overripe and no longer edible. Muddy kiwifruit and apples rotten from the inside out. Once in 7 full days there were fresh strawberries, otherwise only dried ones. No peaches, nectarines, apricots or other seasonal fresh fruit. Cans of apricots were available every day.
- Unfortunately, the employees do not seem to have much knowledge of what is happening on the island. When asked about a venue with live music, it was said that these events would not start until July/Aug.
Even briefly Google and you will find several of these events in June ;)
- Not to mention the high cost of renting a car that you encounter when booking through the hotel. Here all dangers with other car rental companies are pointed out very talented and the customer is cleverly intimidated. All I can say is don't let anything turn on. For example, via Abbycar (I highly recommend super dedicated friendly staff) directly at the airport for the same number of days and a better car with convertible only paid half than the sum demanded by the hotel.
