A hidden gem!
Amazing hotel. Thought the reviews were a little exaggerated, but they weren't.
Perfect location off the pedestrianised area, near the metro (turn left on the pedestrian path - 2 min walk), which bistro also near lots of eateries, or, turning right on the pedestrian pathway, only 10 min slight uphill walk to the hop on hop off bus, on a path that takes you past amazing views of the Parthenon on the Acropolis Hill. Surreal to see it right there. Another 5 mins walk slightly down hill and you reach The Pleka area, with lots of tourist shops and cafes/restaurants.
The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and the top floor bar/restaurant is great. That view!!! We had fun with the lady who works up there, such a lovely lady.
Yes the rooms are small, but the aircon is great and individually controlled and the shower is powerful. So you have all you need. Breakfast is continental style but a good choice delivered to your table in the roof top restaurant. I do recommend taking your own hairdryer though.
If we come back to Athens, we will stay here again.

Do not go there, despite the nice terrace!
The photos of the room and the hotel are misleading! For 160 euros a night + 15 for breakfast.
Reserved in advance, and following the indications on Booking, we ended up with a small, more than basic room on the ground floor, dark and facing the street, lively in the evening.
The breakfast is good, taken on the terrace. The welcome is friendly. The rest is not worth the price at all, random cleaning of the room, two small single beds!!!, and the light is on all day, air conditioning difficult to adjust.
It is near a subway station and Plaka.
But one should seriously avoid it and find a more suitable option.
That one can offer a room at that price in June astonishes me.

The rooftop patio view!!!
While on an island hopping trip, I stayed. twice at the Acropolis Vision. First stay, my room was located in a building adjacent to the hotel, right next to the pedestrian pathway. Beautiful room, very comfortable BUT very noisy at night because of nearby entertainment. Second stay, at the end of my trip, I was given a wonderful room in the main hotel, it was just lovely!! Friendly staff, great location!

Quiet in the heart of Athens
This small quaint hotel is located on a pedestrian street in Thissio in the heart of Athens. Within minutes from the hotel are plenty of restaurants, cafes, attractions and shopping - everything is walkable and all the neighborhoods are very safe.
We stayed in the King room with balcony. The room istelf is comfy, a little basic and on the small side by north american standards. It would have been nice to have a bit more storage in the room and some upgraded furnishings. The bed though was comgrotable. The bathroom was big enough but could really only fit one person in there at a time. Having a balcony helped give the room a larger feel, however the view of the pedestrian walkway was blocked by a rather large tree. Still it's always nice to be able to sit outside while enjoying an Espresso or treat. That reminds me, no Nespresso machine in the room. That would have been nice.
In addition to the location, one of the main features of the hotel was the rooftop patio and its wonderful view of the city and the Acropolis. We had breakfast on the patio everyday and also enjoyed some time there in the evening. The rooftop also featured a bar which was open in the evening.
The staff were nice and always helpful. They tidied up the room each day, replenished our bottled water and also changed the towels. For the most part we were quite happy with our stay and would recommend this pleasant little hotel.

Excellent hotel in perfect location.
Excellent hotel set in a perfect spot for exploring Athens. We just booked room only so didn't sample the breakfast but did use the rooftop bar area in the evening - great spot to have a drink and enjoy the fabulous view. We did book a balcony room - the balcony is tiny and we had no view as the trees block it so wouldnt bother in future. Really good restaurants and cafes surround the hotel & it is an easy walk to the Acropolis from here.
