A great hostel with comfy beds and

The hostel is probably one of the best I've stayed in in Europe. I can't speak for the dorms but the private rooms were comfortable and had good pillows and we also had a balcony. A few shelves would have been a good addition. The shared bathrooms were pretty decent with a good size space for getting dry. Other common areas were all great and there were plenty of places to hang out, to work, cook and eat. My only complaint would be that many of the bathrooms had broken locks.
The location is decent, it's close enough to many of the areas of the city you'll want to visit as well as being close to some you might choose to avoid!

Terrible Visit

The hotel reception staff were not friendly and didn’t even want to speak to us when we arrived 30 mins before checkin. We had been travelling most of the day and were tired but they would even speak to us until 3pm. The hotel is not in a good spot but you only have to walk a few streets to be in a good location. Unfortunately when we were walking home from dinner there were people using drugs outside the hotel. We were worried about dirty needles after seeing this. There was a police presence in the foyer which was concerning. The roof top bar blasted music until very late into the night which made it hard to sleep even though we were on level 5. Although we had already paid for the room we checked out early to find another hotel as we didn’t feel safe.

It's an open place for an open-minded audience! i was quite disappointed with the hotel services

I found the hotel's location to be fantastic, close to some great cities. The hotel itself is very unique, resembling a sort of Spanish inn where coworking spaces, party venues, and traditional hotel stays coexist. In my opinion, this hotel is not the place to go if you are looking for high-quality hotel services.
We are immersed in a new-age hotel experience where rooms are not cleaned every day, and towels are not regularly replaced. Don’t expect very comfortable amenities either; there are no closets to conveniently store your belongings. However, the rooftop is simply stunning! The hotel's location is top-notch!
There is a lot of activity, with people coming for the DJ nights on the rooftop and others coming to work. Even cats freely roam the lobby! It's an open place for an open-minded audience. I really liked it but was quite disappointed with the hotel services, though these are secondary to me.

Worst Place I’ve stayed. Honestly.

WORST place I’ve stayed in my life. I can’t remember ever leaving a bad review but it’s 1:42 a.m and it’s just impossible to sleep.
•300 euros for two days
•no breakfast (sad overpriced plate with egg, tomato, cucumber anyways)
•shared EW bathroom with huge plastic trash
•room lights broken
•rotten plant outside REEKED so bad
•tiny cheap room
•SUPER BAD AREA - one of the worst in Athens (also reeks because they’re selling fish around the corner), especially for women because there are illegal immigrants that hit on you on every step
•noise since 7pm because they’re renovating around and the sound isolation is terrible
• So many RUDE party guests until 2am, with no one to control them.
⚠️ I wouldn’t stay a second time even if they payed me!

Would not recommend

Stayed for 5 nights at Selina with my friend. Every night they were playing loud music from the rooftop from 17:00 until 01:00 at night. Even with earplugs it was loud, and people walking up and down the stairs all night and shutting doors loudly. Would not recommend for families with children or adults/older people. We had breakfast included, but we only ate it two days. The scrambled eggs were barely cooked and we experienced that the staff at the rooftop were not welcoming. The room was poorly cleaned when we arrived, and they didn’t clean during our stay. The one positive thing is that it is central and within walking distance to several places in Athens.
