Staff was extremely helpful in helping us book taxis and dinner reservations. Room was clean, cool and comfortable. It was a bit loud in the mornings when they were cleaning other rooms but we were out late and sleeping in. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Great location to the swimming area and quick walk into town for shopping and restaurants. Would stay again and recommend.

Syros Melathron real diamond

Syrous Melathron is a real diamond. A wonderful neoclassic in the Vaporia. Although we had a room without a balcony it was all great. The room comfortable, the bathroom very clean. Guys, really very clean. I'm not very for the air conditioning, but in this hotel the air conditioning was very correct, as it should have been. The windows were big, the only drawback was they had no grain. The bed and the mattress are required. I slept like a bird. The location of the hotel very nice, close to everything and especially above the Vaporia, that you need for a dive before breakfast. Guys, it was all great. Do not forget the staff polite, willing to help in everything. I put great in the whole package. What I would like, personally, to pay a little more attention to, is breakfast. I think it could be more targeted at local products. However, the loukumi with which we were welcomed to the room were the nicest I ate in Syros. Thank you very much.

It takes little to make a stay unforgettable

Hotel located a few minutes from points of interest. Breathtaking location. Staff moderately kind. Rooms are clean but less beautiful than in the photos and definitely smaller. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the breakfast that was included in the price. It is not a buffet; the selection is rather limited. There is also an extra menu for an additional charge. Everything is certainly prepared to order, but you cannot decide on the quantities, and for the first time in our experience as travelers, we had to pay for espresso
and cappuccino. Considering the price we paid for the room, we deserve a couple of coffees in the morning. What a shame!

Lovely hotel with historic charm! We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony facing the sea & I kept telling my husband the entire trip that we have arguably the best view on the island from our room! You are close to all of the action near the port & square, but also far enough removed that it feels like a more relaxing part of the city center. I would definitely stay here again!

Stay away

Location great, walking distance from the sea and shops. Shocking service--no one helped with bags, though staff saw me struggling. Room was tiny and bare-bones-- not even a box of tissues. Breakfast dreadful--coffee undrinkable, so I paid for a lukewarm "cappuccino." No buffet. Nescafe machine in room, but they charged 2 euros for each capsule after the first day.
