Warm and warm!!!!!

I went small with my parents and now I went with my own family.It is the place that smells of homemade food, warmth and warmth!!!!!If there were more stars I would put but so many!!!!K.Lina Mrs.Mary are rare people and you made us feel so kind!!!!!

American Tourists Must Stay Here

I am a student from the United States studying abroad in Greece and I don't have much of a known culture as to where the local Greeks would go. THANKFULLY, I have a site director here that knows of all the hidden gems of the popular tourist destinations and this is has to be the most perfect, stereotypical mountain bed and breakfast I have ever been to...but in Greek fashion. Please, do not overlook the fact that it isn't an over the top, extremely expensive place to stay, but just know that you will not find a more comfortable, hospitable, and heartwarming place than Lina can provide. After a day spent walking through a river in the mountains Lina built a fire for us in the, what most would call a lobby, but I would call a perfectly comfortable hunting cabin segmented from the rest of the building. She also brought us some homemade sour cherry liquor as she said it would help warm us from the outer cold. I cannot recommend this place enough and the food was incredible and as homey as a place you could get. (P.S. I couldn't leave without buying a jar of her homemade wild berry jam. It is UNBELIEVABLE!)

Your Home in Karpenisi!

We recently made our 3rd family trip to Karpenisi. Linas Guesthouse was the 3rd place that we have stayed at over the years and it was definitely a case of 3rd time lucky! We were travelling this time with 2 other families and Linas instantly charmed us all with its authentic alpine hospitality and lovely "picture-book" location in the small town of Agios Nikolaos (about 10-15 min drive from Karpenisi town). Lina, the owner, is a truly wonderful and kind host. Her home-cooking is superb (especially her pot-luck suppers and bespoke jams!) - and the rates are very reasonable, compared with what we have previously paid in Karpenisi. We stayed with our 2 daughters (10 and 6) in a spacious and super-cosy two-storey family suite (about 80EUR a night) that was part of a separate -annexe, attached to the main structure. Our friends and their 3 young children stayed in the suite just down the corridor, so we were able to relax and enjoy the feeling of privacy (without worrying that we were getting on the other guests' nerves with our high spirits!). Lina was always on hand to advise us about things like the day's snow conditions and local hikes, etc. All in all, her guesthouse lay at the heart of our wonderful stay in Karpenisi. We have now found our permanent Karpenisi Home...

Great Homey stay

We stayed at this place with our 1 year old girl. The room was extremely spacious and had a great warm feeling to it. We were hosted amazingly by the whole family who made sure we had what we needed all the time. We were given a lot of excellent information about what to do in the area.
We are looking forward to our next visit here.

Ειναι Ο ΞΕΝΩΝΑΣ ρε παιδιά!!!!
Ένας υπέροχος κατά τα αλλά ξενώνας ,απόλυτα εναρμονισμένος αρχιτεκτονικά κ διακοσμητικά με τον τόπο στον οποίο βρίσκεται.πεντακάθαρος κ με υπέροχες λιχουδιές από τα χεράκια της Λινας της ιδιοκτήτριας !
Αυτη η Λίνα!!!!Ο πιο αυτόφωτος άνθρωπος όλων ! Οποιος έχει την τύχη να γνωρίσει αυτόν τον γεμάτο άνθρωπο θα καταλάβει .Είναι εμπειρία!!!!
Ευχαριστούμε που κάνατε την διαμονή μας τοσο ομορφη!
Υπέροχος ξενώνας από υπέροχους ανθρώπους !
