Wonderful holiday - a true little gem of a hotel.
The staff here are simply incredible, always happy to help, friendly and smiling - I would also say possibly the hardest working team I've ever met. They seem to work from first thing in the morning until late at night.
The hotel is extremely clean, food is fresh and lots of variety - I've read reviews that say this is not the case - but I'm not sure what these people expect - there is staff cleaning most of the day from the rooms that smell amazingly fresh every day to staff clearing dishes, cups and everything else almost immediately.
We met so many families that have come back multiple times, and was lovely seeing families and kids have emotional reunions or giving each other huge hugs when leaving.
Thank you to every member of the Anna staff for making our holiday so special, we wish you the very best and hope to come back again very soon! :)

Disgusting food, rooms ok'ish.
Rooms ok. Pool areas good but the food is diabolical, especially evening meal. Tiny choice so will be eating out.!!
Today, in salad area, included last night's Brussels in a sauce, vial. Pork tasted like it was 3 days old.

Mixed review
This is a hard review to write, because we genuinely did have a great holiday. However, the room we were first put it was more of a 1 star than a 3 star! It was tiny, run down and just very depressing. We had to stick bins bags on the windows so we could actually sleep! They moved us to a much nicer room after 2 nights, but I just wanted to go home that first night. Everyone kept telling us it was a much nicer room, which makes me think they also knew it wasn’t acceptable.
The food wasn’t great, but to be honest I felt we paid more a self catering price for the holiday, so we ate out every night and only went for breakfast once, just be prepared to eat out. Also warm water and juice with the food :(
The kids area had lots of graffiti, which was a shame. I just felt lots of it needed an upgrade.
Positives: most staff were absolutely gorgeous, so kind and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and could still get sunbeds by 9am, which is a sleep in for most hotels we have been to. We absolutely loved Halkidiki! Beautiful beaches, so many nice places to eat.
So yes we had a great holiday, but for the price we paid I definitely expected less of a run down feel. With a few updates and some rooms updated, I feel this hotel could be great!

We are glad that our team was able to move you after two nights and that you were much happier and more comfortable in your new accommodation. Anna Hotel has different room types and some sections are newer than others, and the gradual renovation and upgrading of our accommodation is something we continue to work on.

Regarding the food, we are sorry that it was not to your personal taste. Nice friendly hotel
Really enjoyed my stay here, with my Mrs, and two 14 years old boys, the main pool was very busy with no chance of getting a subbed if your not up at crack of dawn, however the adult pool allowed teenagers in, as long as they were well behaved, this pool was excellent and always sunbeds available!
Rooms were nice but slightly cramped for family of 4, air conditioning was the best Iv ever had.
Drink quality was very good but you should expect that when not all inclusive and paying for drinks individually, Adonis the main barmen in adult bar was amazing, nothing to much trouble, €5 large beers in iced glass, €3.50 for soft drink and €9 for cocktails, be careful not to take your own snacks to pool area as you will be told Off as you can only eat food purchased from them, and they do inspect
Food quality was ok, decent amount of choice and all perfectly acceptable, but certainly not memorable,
Evening entertainment in my opinion was the only let down for me, some kind of long winded game every night that entirely revolved around ouzo, funny for 1 night, but not ten, there was also a early kid club from about 2000/2130 and live entertainment one w per week
Don’t be put off by three star rating, it’s better than some 5 star I have been to, with exception of food that was still ok, I am a chef so fussier than most though
I would definitely go back, very good value for money and no real bad points, any improvement in evening entertainment would be beneficial

It’s great to know that you enjoyed the quieter pool area and always managed to find sunbeds there. Regarding the main pool, we completely understand your frustration with guests reserving sunbeds early in the morning and then leaving them unoccupied.
This is something we are changing. Going forward, guests will not be permitted to reserve sunbeds with towels or personal belongings while they are not actually present in the pool area. We want our sunbeds to be available and used fairly by everyone, rather than being reserved for long periods while nobody is there.

Regarding outside food and drinks, we would just like to clarify that, as indicated by the signs around the hotel, food and beverages purchased outside the hotel cannot be consumed in our pool areas and other communal spaces. We offer full food and beverage service throughout these areas, and this policy applies equally to all guests.
We also appreciate your comments regarding our buffet and evening entertainment. Entertainment is always very subjective, and while many guests enjoy our games and activities, we completely understand that guests staying for longer periods may prefer greater variety. Your feedback will certainly be taken into consideration.

Amazing hotel and staff!
We had the best time away, would definitely return! The food was varied and of high quality. They offered gluten free options for breakfast (bread and biscuits)… Lola would tell me what could and couldn’t be eaten. She was fab! Never went without. The hotel was clean and the staff worked hard to keep it this way. The room was cleaned each morning and comfy, fridge was useful. We did have a few short power cuts in the evenings, I’m guessing it was everyone getting ready at once. Pools were lovely, we always got a few sunbeds. Franco was a star, always there helping out with umbrellas or bringing drinks over, very attentive! The entertainment was great… bingo, quizzes, karaoke etc. Eleni and Adrian did a great job of getting everyone involved and creating a fun atmosphere. Bar staff were friendly and helpful, Costas and Adonis were chatty and funny. Can’t remember the other bar staff names but all were lovely. Bar food was delicious and good quantity. Close to main shops and beach (10 min walk roughly), a couple of shops at end of road for water and snacks etc.
