Beautiful hotel with pleasant beach
Beautifully designed hotel. Has a nice beach, much quieter than the public beaches around. The rocks are an issue going in but fine once you are bobbing in the mediterranean. Also you can wear crocs or watershoes and then it's completely fine. Buffet was good and plentiful. There could have been more typical Greek foods but probably not everyone would have liked it. I used the gym and it was good, but missed an elliptical. Another small issue that there are some small sets of stairs e.g. going into the hotel from the road with no ramp or elevator. If you come with a car it's street parking. Dimitra was a very nice receptionist. Our rooms were very quiet, I got great sleep.

The Apola-Nightmare
Sadly, this was the worst all-inclusive holiday I’ve experienced in over 40 years of travelling abroad. Having always trusted TUI, this holiday was a huge disappointment from start to finish.
The problems started before we even arrived. Our airport transfer, advertised as around 1 hour 20 minutes, actually took nearly 3 hours with an unexpected coach-to-minibus change. When we finally reached the hotel, there was almost no food left despite evening service only being underway for about an hour.
The food throughout the week was dreadful. There was no butter for the first three days, breakfast was consistently poor, toast was only available once, and on our final morning there was no milk for cereal, no milk in the coffee machine and no fruit juice. We ended up spending around £600 per couple eating and drinking outside the hotel just to enjoy our holiday.
The drinks were equally disappointing. Soft drinks were often little more than fizzy water, bottled water wasn’t replenished daily as promised, cocktails were poor, and on our final day beer and cocktails were even served in takeaway coffee cups.
Our “garden view” room overlooked a road with only a small glimpse of the sea – there were no gardens at all. Housekeeping was poor, with used towels simply folded and put back, dead mosquitoes left on the bathroom walls for the entire week, ineffective air conditioning in 32°C heat, and maintenance issues that were reported but never fixed.
Cleanliness across the hotel was well below standard. Dirty crockery and cutlery were common, rubbish was left around the pool for hours, weeds grew between the paving, and hygiene standards in the restaurant were concerning. Safety also appeared to be an afterthought, with poor supervision around the pool and broken glass not always clearly marked while being cleaned up.
This hotel bears no resemblance to the five-star resort being advertised. Based on our experience, I would struggle to rate it even three stars. It’s disappointing because previous reviews were excellent, but the more recent reviews accurately reflect what we experienced.
For the amount we paid (almost £1,400 per person), this represented extremely poor value for money. I cannot recommend this hotel in its current state and sincerely hope significant improvements are made before others book what should be a relaxing holiday. Needless to say, an official complaint has been raised with the tour operator!

Terrible!
The hotel is marketed as a five-star establishment, but in reality, it doesn't deserve more than three stars. It looks good only in photos—specifically the view of the beach and the view of the fountains from the restaurant. The service is very poor, and the food served is terrible with hardly any variety. They are understaffed and fail to keep the food stations stocked or to provide glasses, drinks, and other essentials in a timely manner. Although they offer an "all-inclusive" package, there are only two food options; serving trays sit empty or are removed without being refilled during scheduled meal times. No one seems to care or oversee operations; the juice dispensers are often empty, and there are no glasses available for them. The hotel operates as if it is simply using up remaining stock before closing down. Terrible! Do not book here!

Apalamare elinotel Hanioti
Good side - this hotel is at the beach. Bad side, sea bed is full of rocks and pebbles. Water shoes are advisable.
As for hotel itself: definitely not a five-star-hotel.
- all inclusive srvice ends at 11pm and low-quality beverages are served. Bad coffee, instant friut juice. However, if you pay, you’ll get better options.
- cold cut is not of great quality,
- there is not an omellete station only previously prepared sunny-side ups (good), scrambled eggs (inedible)
-under-staffed and probably undergoing money issues: cuttings can be seen everywhere
- room ceanliness is not iseal. Some rooms are humid and smell of dump and moisture
Hanioti is a small town packed with fast-food restaurants and stands selling low-quality replicas
- sun beds are free of charge. Beach is nice, sea is very clean

The food was unacceptable. TV without channels. The all inclusive didn't include anything from the bar.
