Surprising accommodation, especially weekday activities of the young managers!
Not too big accommodation in quiet part of Kos, but within walking distance of the center. Typical Greek, but with all the trimmings. Cleaning is neat and there is a cozy atmosphere. Not least by the young couple Anna Maria and Valantis who manage the bar and pool. Once a week they also organize a well-groomed Greek evening with live music. Toppers!

Marios owner ?
When we arrived to the hotel (booked two rooms) one of them was not ready for the rest of my family to stay in. They said that doesn’t normally happen but it still messed up our day plans from waiting for them to prepare it. There is no brooms in the hotel rooms and it can get very sandy if you go to the beach. I asked the cleaner if she was able to tidy the floor in our room.. there was a bit of a language barrier in asking her but it’s okay, it worked out.
Me and my partner left the room to go down to the pool area so the cleaner could clean. We noticed that the sun beds were all full so we went to sit on the couches near them. The owner told us we cannot be lounging like that. (Laying/sitting sideways as you would on a sunbed) so we got up to go somewhere else. He stopped us as we were walking away and said no you guys can stay but he wanted us to sit up straight ??? Pretty confusing. We asked why we can’t use the couches and sit how we want if every other sunbed was occupied.. he didn’t provide a clear reason. (We also told him our room was being cleaned so we would just be a few minutes)
Also the assistant guy to the owner is pretty creepy. Will look you up and down and smirk at you if you are a young girl. Made me uncomfortable.
Also they WAYY overcharge on drinks. Around 5- 10€ for a beer or something.. it’s like 2.50€ in other places nearby. Unreasonable.
Otherwise our stay in kos was amazing!! Highly recommend visiting the beach:)

Returned with more stress
During my stay I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. From the beginning I felt totally unwelcome by the unfriendly attitude of the host. When I reported mold in the bathroom, it was not taken up professionally – on the contrary, the owner was visibly annoyed at my door, which only made the atmosphere more unpleasant.
The condition of the room also left something to be desired. I found several cockroaches, which made me feel unsafe and unhygienic. Especially since these are quite large in Greece, I hardly dared to sleep. In addition, the mattress was of such poor quality that the springs literally pressed into my body. As someone with rheumatism, I can say with certainty that I came back with more pain than I went on holiday with.
The behaviour of the cleaning staff was also disruptive. They entered the room without knocking, even if I was still in the shower. Several times I indicated that we were not finished, but that was ignored. Privacy therefore seemed to be far away. In addition, the cleaning ladies constantly shouted at each other in the hallway, which woke me up early in the morning from the noise.
I'm not easily dissatisfied. I am used to always seeing the positive of everything and fortunately I can say that the surroundings were super beautiful and I did nice things. But when I returned to my room, that positivity was far from there. After all, I paid a lot of money to enjoy some rest.
I really cannot recommend this accommodation. If I want to go back in the future then I will definitely go to another place.

Sergive excellent
The cleaning service of EFTI was extremely good. Relaxed pool and clean rooms! We went there with some friends. It was from the airport to the hotel god prepares. We were picked up by bus and were able to check in within minutes!

Average place, but close to everything
The stay was okay. The room was okay, but no more than that.
Pros: close to old town. It is a straight distance to the old town and you can get there in less than 8 minutes walk. To the beach it is about 17-18 minutes walk, but even that we thought was nice because we then got some exercise every day. In other words, the place where the hotel is located is great!
The pool was also nice and even though it is small, the kids had a lot of fun there. There were always available chairs.
Cons: In one room it was not possible to make it dark.
Incredibly responsive, which will be hard if there are larger parties there. We were woken up in the middle of the night several times, but luckily the young people were nice and turned down the volume when told.
The staff often argued with each other. We were woken up in the morning by the maids shouting at each other.
