Cozy and Greek

We enjoyed this hotel in a very special way. An experience we would not have missed and perhaps next time again this hotel. Yes it is outdated and dated, no step down the stairs is alike, the shower is often warm and regularly lukewarm. The room door and the front door just open without electronic hassle, but with keys. Also the front door, because the staff (over 70 we estimate) closes the reception at 11 am. The balcony is small and even though there are two chairs, you can’t pass each other so take turns sitting outside. We had a lovely spacious room (215) which was well cleaned. The laundry of sheets and stuff, they still do themselves. Everything hangs out to dry on a small patio and when it is dry, it goes through a hand-operated ironing machine. Often the owners are nodding or snuggling in the sultry reception room annex living room. The location is sublime. On the harbor, right in the center. We really enjoyed this hotel, but you should not have too many demands because it is not luxurious but very cozy.

Worn, but so friendly.

This is a budget hotel. It is worn, the rooms smell of smoke, only one socket high up on the wall to charge the phone, only cold water in the shower.
But - the people are very friendly. It is a ten minutes walk to the ferry and the bus station. My room was spacious and had a balcony with a sea view. It had a/c, and a fridge with water bottles. The bed was good and I slept like a baby. Breakfast for 8 euros is greek style. Quite simple, but very nice. Good coffee!
I might stay here again.

great price and location

The staff was always courteous, considerate, and helpful.
Cleanliness is great and towels are changed daily
the hotel is in a great location very close to the city center and convenient to all services and attractions.
From the bus stop coming from the airport it takes 5 minutes walk.
The price paid is absolutely good, however the room they gave us, although clean, is very spartan, with a small fridge placed in the middle of the room.
The bathroom is very small.
the only window in the room gives into a shabby inner courtyard filled with carabiners and broken and disused items.
It is not possible to have breakfast, although there is a free coffee maker available to customers.

Great location, budget hotel

Stayed for one night before caching ferry to Patmos. Great location for ferry, 10 minute walk. Also next to tavernas etc. Hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was really good with a nice selection of food for 5 euros. Would have been happy to stay a week or more

A basic good value hotel

Stayed here for one night waiting for the catamaran ferry to Leros. It is an inexpensive no frills hotel that represents good value for money. The location is in the centre of Kos town very close to the harbour. The proprietor was very helpful and friendly.
