Top house with swimming pool

Went with family of 5. Beautiful and clean house on a site with 3 houses. Absolutely great. 5th bed on the sofa bed in the kitchen/diner was fine. Initially no 5th set of bedding, but immediately arranged by the friendly owner. Very clean swimming pool in a beautiful location with a view of the valley/coast. Not heated, chilly for us, no problem for the children.

Amazing view, 5 mins from town

We managed to book the Vrahos suite 3 at short notice for a couple of nights.
It's looks further than it actually is up the hill behind Agia Galini, but in reality it only takes 5 mins in the car, but the view......what a view.
Pool is not cold, but not really hot either but once you are in its great and refreshing.
This unit was a 3 person unit I think but had the best view.
Villa was clean and everything was in good working order and well maintained. WiFi was good.
We became surrogate parents for the young cat and her 5 kittens over the fence to the east and brought back leftovers after dinner to make sure the were fed.
Couch wasn't the mist comfy I've sat on but i think it doubles as a Sofa bed.
Bed was comfy and pillows were big and spongy.
Would recommend as a base while in the south as Matala is only 40 mins away.
Owners were very helpful and nice.

Amazing villa and adorable cats

This villa is just stunning and the location is perfectly situated 5 mins drive from Agia Galina but is secluded enough with only two neighbouring villas and unobstructed views.
The villa is modern, spotless and with everything you need from towels, washing machine, cutlery. On arrival we had a buffet of foods, large bottle of wine and Raki provided for us and breakfast each morning was a good selection.
The pool and views are perfect.
My favourite thing was the beautiful car and two kittens who live in the grounds. We fed them every day. I really hope other guests do and hope staff feed them in the quieter winter months. They really add to the charm but I hope they get neutered to stay a small family and not become an issue to the owner. Please everyone feed the cats they are too cute
I would stay here again a sit was just faultless

perfect

we stayed some days with our family was very relaxed the only sounds you could hear are birds, wind and cicadas on trees ,no cars around, no annoying noises very quiet place and the sunset was amazing . rooms were very clean beds comfy with new mattress and breakfast delicious
if you want to shop you have to drive about 3 minutes to reach to the nearest grocery in Agia galini

Christmas in Crete

Well appointed new villas situated with individual pools spectacularly situated overlooking Agia Galini. Spent a very enjoyable Christmas week here. We were very well looked after by the hosts Arleti and Athena who left plenty of local produce for us and arranged a nice Christmas dinner in a great Taverna in hilltop village of Melampes. Though the weather can be variable at this time of year (snow on the hills when we arrived), we also had some very pleasant warm days. The villas have heating to combat the cold days. We hired a car and found it necessary as the villa is not in walking distance of shops / restaurants.
