A relaxing stay with All inclisive light
We had a standard room. It was a little small. The passage between bed and desk was very narrow. If someone was at the table, no one could get through. The bathroom was already a bit cramped (about 1.5m x 1.5m), but had enough storage space and sockets. The walk-in shower was also not large with a side wall of about 50-60 cm, which meant that the foot carpet was always wet after showering. The wardrobe had enough space, but only one sliding door, which means half was open. We had two beds pushed together, with many pillows of different sizes. The mattresses were comfortable, the sleep quality very good. Bed linen was changed every two days, towels daily. The balcony door had an additional fly screen door, which made it possible to leave the door open in the evening and overnight and to dispense with the air conditioning.
This is just the description of the room and has not stopped our holiday. It was enough for us, but if you also value spacious rooms, you should book superior.
The AI offer was not excessive but had a very good selection. Breakfast buffet: several types of cheese and sausage, various egg specialities (also freshly prepared according to your wishes), several types of jam, vegetables and fruit, French toast, smoothies, juices, coffee specialities from the vending machine.
Lunch. and dinner buffet were also very varied with various salads, side dishes, cheese selection, potted dishes such as goulash or shredded, Greek specialties, but also freshly grilled meat (which was not cooked dead for a change), very delicious fish. For dessert there was a large selection of fruits, small desserts and 4 types of ice cream.The persona was all around very accommodating and very friendly. Wishes were, if possible, promptly fulfilled.The main pool was not very large but sufficient. Unfortunately, he was only max. 160 cm deep and very cold for us. There were hardly any people in it either. The beach section was not very wide and had just 2 rows of loungers right in front of the hotel. To the left of the page, the section was a little wider. We stayed on the loungers by the pool though, as it was just your pair of steps towards the beach. Loungers were enough and they were also free.From the airport the transfer by bus took about 1 h. Not far from the hotel was also a bus stop. for 2.00 € you could easily reach the old town of Malia and the port in a few minutes.

Perfect holiday with friends
A really nice hotel, ideally located on the private beach, well-kept gardens, completely renovated, beautiful rooms, delicious, varied food, incredibly friendly and caring staff from the reception to the cleaning staff, the gardeners, the lifeguards at the pool and on the beach to the service staff at the bar and dining room, the chefs, everything fits here. The best holiday I could spend!

Very poor value for money - especially in the food and beverage supply
Buffet:
Extremely poorly signposted (often with completely wrong translation e.g. “egg laying” or “tested” - it was often unclear what it was). The allergens were also not indicated - there was a folder, but it was impossible to find out which food was meant and also it was stated, for example, that the lactose-free milk (which did not even exist) was dairy-free. Since I can't tolerate dairy products, I couldn't taste anything - on the first day I had a bad stomachache, because apparently everything contained milk hidden in it.
The food was extremely unhealthy - everything was completely oversugared and very meat/carbohydrate-heavy
The only beer available at dinner was watery, the wine sour
Virtually no variation eg at the salad buffet (every evening the exact same things)
The coffee was inedible (instant coffee) - there was no real machine with coffee beans on the whole site, so we always had to go out for coffee.
Rooms:
Very clairvoyant- in the next room someone snored and you had the feeling he was in the room with us because the walls are so thin
The maid left the balcony door open for ventilation every time after cleaning - although the room was on the ground floor and you could have just got in. One day we were on a trip and when we got back our room was still open, so probably all day long. The safe cost 3€ per day by the way! extra - complete usury.
By the way, we had booked a family room, but get a much smaller double room with extra bed. This only became apparent when we had seen the room of acquaintances and compared it with our booking. There was no apology or reparation from Hotel. We could have gotten a new room in the booked class, but would have had to relocate everything ourselves.
The cupboard was missing two sliding doors - and the one door fell out every now and then.
The bathroom had hardly any shelves.
Pools:
The lifeguard at the pool near the Kids Club was completely redundant. Most of the time, he was sitting behind a column at the pizza maker's house with his back to the pool and couldn't even see the pool. He was also busy with his smartphone the whole time, so probably wouldn't have noticed anything else.
Changing towel should cost €1.50 per towel - regardless of how long you have booked your holiday. If you paid thousands of euros for 2 weeks in this hotel, then it seems really ridiculous and is very annoying.
Gym:
The roof is leaking and in one place it is constantly dripping. There, the floor is already softened and broken - so the problem has existed for some time
The door of the toilet at both the fitness and the spa cannot be locked. At the reception we were told that in Greece the door was left open if it was free and the closed door would be called occupied - but since there is no sign hanging there and that none of the guests can know it leads to unpleasant situations with other guests again and again...
Animation:
The Kids Club is great from the care, but unfortunately almost no one knows about it, so only a few children were there.
The amphitheatre was tiny (6 rows) and the evening program was correspondingly thin...

Wonderfully relaxing holiday.
Enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Allsun. The renovation was not yet visible in photos accompanying books so we did not know what to expect. Beautifully landscaped resort. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Unfortunately always beds full of towels in the morning. Food is adapted to average taste. Mainly fine but we sometimes lacked some spice. Was fine walk in and certainly breakfast and lunch quite right. Old Malia is nice to walk through and enjoy original Greek dinner. Lifeguard gave nice tips for trips. And enjoyed a super delicious duo massage at Aegeo Spa by Alma and Petros. The spa is online and also in terms of leaflet in hotel untraceable in terms of prices and information difficult to find. They work with a sales lady who informs you. Some old-fashioned system. You are super close to entertainment area Malia. Ideal for our older sons. That's why I picked it. Nice sea location but within walking distance. There is no noise pollution at the resort.

The people make it!
In German hands for some time. You can tell. Pros: The bathroom was clean and comfortable. Cons: The primarily German and German-language entertainment (politically correct, I guess, is called exclusion). At the best time of the night in the area of the pool bar bingo and quiz games, the further entertainment so lala. Absolutely remarkable: the people in Service. Attentive, dedicated, very friendly. Don't remember all the names, but want to emphasize: Mikhaila at the reception, Eleftheria at the pool bar (!!!!!) and Niki in the restaurant area. But also numerous nameless others were consistently good.
