Breathtaking view

Windmill Kilmolos is a special place with excellent service. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of variety.
The staff is very kind and they go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Rini even fixed a wheel on my suitcase! A special thanks to Mike for his great care and service. If you are looking for peace and quiet combined with perfect service, definitely book this hotel.

Overlooking Psathi

Going to drink a glass of mastic liqueur on the terrace at night: despite the stars (of the establishment's rating), the welcome is one of great simplicity and generosity.

Make sure can walk steep hills

First of all make sure you book directly with Aria Hotels. We booked with a third party and received no email comms regarding the fact that you have to check in at the port - near the supermarket. We walked all the way up an extremely steep hill to the Windmill to then have to drag out suitcases up an even steeper hill to the accommodation. To find no-one there to welcome us - there is no-one based there at all except for breakfast. We only saw someone there one evening otherwise deserted. I phoned Aria hotels and they got the local manager to call us back to explain everything and come up to give us access to our quaint hobbit home for two nights. We loved the Windmill and the room - apart from the annoying green light that disturbed our sleep - see photo. The views were incredible from the lovely patio seating area with had plus from the breakfast area.
Valentina was amazing at preparing and serving our breakfasts. You order your food the night before and there is no limit to what you can have. Super Bowl, bread plate, omelette and fruit salad. Lovely coffee refilled. It was an unusual set up but worth the inconvenience of location. At least better than being at the port we felt as half way up the hill to the main town. We try to get a bus from the end of the road but they don't run to a timetable so ended up walking up the hill to town.

Everything wonderful

We were at the Hotel Windmill in Kimolos for 10 days from 06/29 to 07/09/2026 as a couple from Switzerland. We liked it very much. Very nice room with a terrace with a dream view. The breakfast was always fresh, you could choose, and the woman who served was very nice and friendly. Ms. Martha from the reception was also very helpful and nice to us. Only the steep path to the hotel was a little arduous. We had a small Fiat Panda. But all in all, it was a lovely stay. The village of Chora is beautiful to us.

Beautiful location,superb views

This hotel stay was a unique experience due to its luxurious unusual location and breathtaking views. However, what made the stay exceptional was the sterling service provided by Giannis, the Regional Manager and his colleague Efkosmia.
Giannis was thoroughly professional in his duties while providing a laid back charm which is so in line with this destination.
Efkosmia provided some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and no request was too much for her.
Both staff worked hard to make this lovely destination a truly memorable experience. Thoroughly recommended.
