Great vacation with a larger group – but with some drawbacks in service.
We stayed as a group at Hotel Cosmos in Naxos at the end of May/beginning of June and had a wonderful time!
We stayed with friends in a villa with 5 rooms. It is very well equipped: There is a kitchen, television, and Wi-Fi (although the reception in the lower area was unfortunately a bit weak). The location is great – just a 5-minute walk from the sea – and the view from our balcony was simply stunning. We would especially like to highlight the well-maintained, blooming garden with many roses. Beautiful!
We really liked this:
Perfect cleanliness: Every day it was thoroughly wiped down. A big thank you to the maids Olga and Alfina – thanks to them, the villa was always spotless and cozy.
Location and property: Very close to the sea, quiet, and visually an absolute highlight.
What disappointed us:
The towels: They were old and scratchy. This simply does not meet the standard of the rest of the villa, and they urgently need to be replaced.
The breakfast: Unfortunately, the value for money is not right here. The traditional Greek pastries consisted almost entirely of dough, with hardly any filling. There was far too little fresh fruit and vegetables. Additionally, the ordered omelet was slightly burnt.
The service at breakfast: The staff member in service appeared unprofessional. She laughed very loudly and did not properly tie back her hair, which is rather unpleasant in the hospitality industry.
All in all, despite the shortcomings with breakfast and the towels, we had a very nice time and will definitely return to Naxos!

Great Hotel
Our stay at the Cosmos Hotel in Naxos was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We stayed in the beautiful Venus Suite, and waking up each morning to the stunning sea view was simply unforgettable. The suite was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and luxurious stay.
The hotel’s location is excellent. It was just a short walk to the beach, as well as the many fantastic bars and restaurants, making it the perfect base for exploring Naxos while still enjoying a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
What really made our experience special was the incredible hospitality. A special mention has to go to Thomas, the bartender, who was outstanding throughout our stay. He was friendly, welcoming, made some fantastic cocktails, and always took the time to have a chat and make everyone feel at home. His service really added to the whole experience.
The hotel itself has a wonderful atmosphere, and every member of staff was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend the Cosmos Hotel to anyone visiting Naxos. We will definitely be returning!

Modern, well maintained hotel with good pool area, within a short, easy walk of the great beaches and many of the tavernas in the area. Agia Anna very accessible. Staff exceptionally friendly.

We had a lovely suite at the Cosmos. Room was more than adequate. Clean, 3 balconies, all the amenities needed. One blind was broken so we could never raise it to. See out of that window.
We needed a room for an extra night due to ferries being canceled because of high winds; they were able to accommodate us. Staff was helpful overall.
Dining options nearby are quite close with a market available as well.

Relaxing beach getaway
Great location in Plaka Beach - very short walk to the beach, restaurant, grocery, and the bus stop! Hotel was clean and housekeeping was very attentive. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Hotel had some beach and pool toys which was a nice bonus!
Room was right by the pool which was great! Rooms were quiet and AC worked well.
We used the kitchen to cook but many useful kitchen items were missing such as an oven mitt, paper towels, dish towels, serving spoons. Also, hard to get assistance in the evening due to limited staffing. Overall, this was a great visit with only a few minor issues. One suggestion would be to start breakfast at 7am so those that are signed up for morning excursions have time to enjoy breakfast before their tours.
