Great!

Very clean and large room (house) with sea view. Immaculate service, congratulations to the owners! In front of the sea suitable for family and not only. The courtyard is a "museum" that travels you to the past.

Great place to stay!

What a lovely welcoming owners!
We were in one of the studios on the garden side overlooking the lemon tree.
We got for 10 euros pp a great local breakfast with all the trimmings served on our porch. What a treat.
The beds could be a bit more pleasant with softer mattresses, but that is the only thing I have to criticize.
Air conditioning is doing great and you're in. Few steps on the beach.
Turn left when facing the sea. There the beds are still free against use of consumption (10 euros min.).
Keep up the good work!

Just the holiday we wanted

We had such a nice time here where the family really know what Welcome means - including supplying us with home-made puddings (we made them a kipper pâté in return). We had a big lemon tree right outside our ground floor studio and there were regularly soft thuds as lemons fell. We were quite surprised when we got back to England and had to pay for them. The sandy beach is right outside the complex and there are five tavernas within walking distance, both on the beach and a short, steep walk up into the old village. Gythio is lovely and the beaches down the eastern side of the Mani peninsular are terrific. Mistra, Monemvasia and the Diros caves are not very far by car. By chance, we picked a really great time of the year to go; the weather was mixed but always warm and mostly sunny and the big sites weren't busy at all. Thanks to Michaelis & all the family for a really lovely holiday. Trying to think of downsides, it might be annoying if you had noisy neighbours because the studios are close to one another. But we didn't and the place was full most of the time, including families with children.
