lovely time
A delightful stay in a charming part of Corfu. The hospitality of the hotel is warming and adds to the peaceful and tranquil setting. All staff are great and always on hand to help. Truly great experience.

Horrible rooms to stay in
Horrible rooms and receptionist. Please avoid unless necessary. We were staying here for 7 nights and realized it's not possible to stay here after 4 nights and requested a refund for the last 2 days given the following reasons with evidence. But the gentleman at the reception said to allow the cleaning team to come in, which we were already doing, which had no relevance.
1. Air conditioning close to not functioning and limited to 23 degrees as the minimum while being around 15/20 years old. Even with it on, we can feel the mold in the air and this was present from the start of the trip. They told us this is just how all the rooms are, which shows the quality. Then he even said that it doesn't matter if the temperature goes lower because they don't function lower, imagine how arrogant you need to be to say this to a guest. Even the clothes stored in the wardrobes were damp by the end of the trip because there's no ventilation even if you leave the balcony mesh open.
2. If we choose to use the balcony, it allows insects inside because they have not sealed their balcony door which allows mosquitoes and centipedes through the gaps I showed them and in the pictures. But it's Greece so it's hot so you can't even sleep well with that temprature. Opening the balcony also means all the sounds that you hear during your sleep. We had to kill the mosquitoes ourselves or deal with the smell of the mosquito repellent within such a small room.
3. The shower is close to unusable because we can't even bend down without opening the shower doors. This is a shower made for children and it stinks all the time since they don't have an exhaust, just a small tilt window that makes you hear other bathrooms so clearly like a dorm. Not a 3 star experience.
4. The walls are so thin we can hear everything from other rooms including the sink which is as loud as 80 decibel so you wake up each time someone uses a sink next to you. Additionally, the fridge cannot be used because it's so loud at around 50 decibel and barely cools things.
5. They act as a 3 star hotel but it's just a gimmick, they don't even provide towels for the pool. Only the breakfast and location is good.
If you want to actually sleep in the night or even stay in a room that you paid for, avoid this hotel, especially due to the arrogant man at the reception.

The only downside is the slightly small bathroom and the narrow shower.

Nice place, bad experience.
Pros:
Beautiful hotel, with a nice pool, a garden shaded by olive trees, and a valid layout of the accommodations. The view is also beautiful.
The breakfast is excellent and the service staff is kind.
Cons:
The cleaning is NOT thorough; we shared our room with ants, some even found in the bed.
Reception at set hours, this contributed to generating an unpleasant situation:
due to a mistake of mine, I confused the departure day (11th instead of 10/8), so on the checkout date, I arrived late. I found the room empty, the suitcases repacked haphazardly (going through my things, absolutely not!!!) and brought to reception in the afternoon.
NOT a phone call, NOT a hint, I could have been in the hospital or had any other problem !!! Upon arrival, it was about 6:00 PM, the hotel had no other rooms available for another night, we did NOT have any assistance to find a different solution, only giggles and annoyed attitudes. We solved it on our own, but it is certainly not the right way to resolve the matter. It would have been enough to make a phone call an hour after the checkout deadline and everything would have been resolved trivially and without missing the flight. Truly terrible.

The cocktails offered are truly tasteless, I tasted the Margarita and Mojito, both glasses of ice, with a distant aroma of the basic ingredients
I must say that they are the first locals I have found inhospitable and snobbish, while elsewhere, in restaurants and around, I found only courtesy and friendliness. I will NOT return to that hotel. to Corfu, certainly yes.

Beautiful hotel but can be noisy
Lovely hotel. Beautiful setting. No sun bed dash (bonus)! Breakfast varied and tasty. Staff friendly. Would recommend. Only one down side. Young, single Italians sharing rooms VERY noisy. Would suggest to hotel that they have a dedicated building for the night owls. Nothing against them (we were there once) but nowadays we need our sleep! Bring earplugs if you want to sleep!
