Very disappointed with our stay in a Suite
Upon our arrival, several points caught our attention: we had paid the €10 supplement for the underground parking but received no code; we had to call the front desk to have the parking opened, with a chilly response; furthermore, upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist left us in front of the elevator, just explaining where the restaurant was without showing us the room or the other parts of the hotel (pool, spa, etc.). In the elevator, there were no signs regarding the floors; to know where to go, the information is only located on the ground floor. Additionally, there was no hair dryer in the bathroom, the faucet was half-broken, the paint finishes were poorly done, the air conditioning was impossible to adjust, and the refrigerator was barely cooling.
Unfortunately, the service was not up to par either. At 8:00 AM, we requested an iron. We were told that we had to come pick it up ourselves at the front desk, even though we were in room 300, on the 3rd floor. Room service would have been appreciated.
Regarding the spa, the experience was very disappointing. A strong smell of dust permeated the premises, our appointment was scheduled for 5:00 PM but the room was not ready when we arrived. We had booked a duo massage for €180, but it ultimately took place in two different rooms, which is far from the experience we were expecting. Furthermore, one of the practitioners had rather long nails, which was unpleasant during the massage, and a YouTube ad even started playing in the middle of the session, which completely ruined the relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, we are truly disappointed by this experience at the Dina Morgabine in Saint-Denis. It is a shame, because the establishment has potential, but several details, both in terms of maintenance and service, deserve to be reviewed to meet guest expectations.
