Great choice between castle and local visits

Extremely well located and clean.
Just below the castle to get there on foot (6 min).
Beautiful views.
Large rooms with internet, balconies and views of the castle.
Very nice and helpful staff.
Simple breakfast, delicious and composed of local products. Restaurant with terrace and view of the castle.
On the edge of walks and a gentle river that flows and refreshes the pension.
The manager, Gabriel, speaks French and is very good advice and very helpful.
Possibility to order taxis and other advice on local organization and festivities.
30 min drive from the city. Many beautiful things to visit in the city.
Excellent choice.

Great castle view

Nice view of the castle, especially at breakfast in the morning. Not all rooms have the castle view. Bit of a walk to the castle if you plan on doing a visit. Be advised there is a sign on the front door that you cannot bring any food or drinks (including water) up to your room. Otherwise the food was okay and the staff friendly.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay, close to the castle. Rooms had a nice traditional simple decor and breakfast was good. Amazing view of the castle - took our best picture from there. The only thing is - there was a bat that flew into the window at night and bit me. I feel good overall, just started having sensitivity to garlic and light. My skin is a bit more pale than usual, but feeling much stronger and faster than before. Definitely will be back. Great place

Good option in Bran

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly hostess and the check-in was quick and easy. Our room was somewhat outdated (fits the atmosphere well though) and hot (no A/C) but clean and the view from the private balcony is beautiful.
The mattress of the bed was not the best and neither were the pillows but for one night stay it was not a big problem.
The restaurant is charming, breakfast was ok, parking infront of the hotel and walking distance to Bran Castle.

I was very disappointed - maybe I was unlucky and it's not like that all the time??!!??

the room door did not close normally, I had to lock it with the key. the light bulb in the bathroom had no shade (picture attached). the radiators were closed when we arrived. at the restaurant you cannot pay by card, only cash. the owner was very nervous and agitated when I told him that there was a mistake when paying for the 3 reserved rooms. he simply did not want to look for any solution to our problem, even though we mentioned from the moment we made the reservation that each customer pays for his room separately. breakfast is very simple and you have no choice but to have eggs (fried, scrambled or boiled). although I asked for medium-boiled eggs, I received one soft egg and one unboiled. there were two positive things: the view of the castle and the recommendation made to serve dinner at a nearby restaurant that accepts payment by card.
