Right in the city center !

I booked this nice location in July 2018. I paid for 3 nights, around 400 RON (1EUR = 4.7 RON).
This house has many apartments, rented like a hotel.
The rooms are big, confortable, high ceiling, nice kitchen.
The furniture is very ok, nice attention to details.
A big plus for the staff, very friendly.
The location is right in the Council Square; The Black Church is at a maximum 5 minutes walk.
The only downside - there is NO FREE PARKING in the area. Expect to pay 2-3 RON/1hour or 12-15 RON for a day. Don`t expect to find a parking place here between 8,00 and 18,00.
You can pay either by coins, either by phone (a sur-charge by you local phone provider)
Near the location the also a big parking place, but you can expect to arrive here in around 10-15 minutes walk.

Beautiful bedroom, but poor comfort, no kitchen and very cold house

We stayed one night in this apartment last November.
The bedroom is very nice, large and with wooden ceiling. Nice bed and parquet.
The location is great, on a quiet street leading to the main square.
The house, however, was very cold and the heating was not turned on despite having asked both in person and on the phone and with a small child we had problems.
The wooden ceiling is beautiful, but creaks strongly at every step of the apartment above, so early in the morning, if the guests of the apartment upstairs move, it is impossible to sleep.
It said that the apartment had a kitchenette and instead there was only a kettle and a microwave.
Hair dryer not working.
Nice bathroom, but small, with a small window that did not guarantee adequate air exchange.
You can not get by car to the apartment because the street is not open to traffic (not bad, but it is important to know).
The bedroom directly overlooks street on the ground floor, so there is little privacy.
Perhaps the other apartments in the hotel are better (not aesthetically, but at least functionally).

Passable

We choose this place to sleep for couple of nights just because was very close to Brasov city center but that was the only positive thing along a very nice, helpful host. The place is old (mould smell guys, seriously?) and need some quick cleaning and repainting. Beside, you can't sleep very well because of the noise coming from the main street. Add the fact that this building doesn't have a private parking (you'll need to use municipality parking in proximity if available) and you have the full picture. I forgot about bathroom, not really clean...

Definitely recommended

Casa Postavarului is located in Brasov's old town 5 min away from the Council's square. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The room (one bedroom appartment) was spacious and very warm. Sabine provided us with all the information we needed and was very friendly. We parked our car at the millitary hospital's parking (there a lot of signs to guide you there) 5 min away. Definitely recommended

Good experience overall.

Nice , clean and comfortable but...lack of parking is quite a drag. Can't park next to the hotel- street is closed to traffic and parking on the closest streets is quite problematic since the zone is in high demand. So, if it rains and you need to drag your suitcases- not that great.
