Great place to stay, especially if you can get the renovated rooms

Great facilities when it comes to gym, sauna, swimming pool (both outdoor and indoor)
Location is very convenient, city centre is right around the corner.

Extremely Disappointing Pool Experience

Extremely disappointing experience at the Continental Timișoara pool.
My wife and I came here hoping for a quiet, relaxing afternoon by the pool. Instead, our day was completely ruined by a group of around seven men, who I believe were Dutch tourists, repeatedly cannonballing and performing backflips into the pool for several hours. Water was constantly being sprayed over other paying guests trying to relax, with absolutely no consideration for anyone else.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of action from hotel management. Despite the ongoing disruption, staff showed little interest in intervening or enforcing even basic standards of behaviour. This continued for hours with no attempt to restore a peaceful environment.
As paying customers, we expected the hotel to provide a safe and relaxing atmosphere, not to allow a handful of disruptive guests to dominate the entire pool area. Hotels have a responsibility to ensure that all guests can enjoy the facilities, and those who repeatedly disturb others should be warned and, if necessary, removed from the pool area.
What concerns me most is the complete lack of management. If staff are unwilling to step in over such obvious and prolonged disruptive behaviour at the pool, it makes me question how other issues affecting hotel guests would be handled. It certainly doesn't inspire confidence in the overall guest experience.
Overall, this was a disgraceful experience, and we left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay to avoid this hotel at all costs.

Poor reception

i called the reception for a Tesla car that was waiting although there was no car at the chargers they would not let us in. Incredible mindset! A queue was formed, which is relevant about how the hotel treats clients. Of course, even if you are a hotel client but you arrive with a Tesla you have to wait just because they did not figure out another method to charge the money for parking.

The hotel abusively restricts access to Tesla superchargers

Not a guest, but a user of the Tesla superchargers located in the hotel's perimeter. Access to the superchargers must be available 7/24, but the suboptimal management of the hotel makes it sometimes impossible. If the hotel's parking is full, cars can't access the superchargers, even if all 6 of them are available, because the automatic gate is commanded by the availability of the hotel's parking places, disregarding the available chargers. The employee from the reception shows zero intention to be helpful.

My hotel in Timisoara

My hotel when I'm here is a little old, which is perhaps what makes it so charming. Good food and breakfast. Lovely pool in summer, indoor pool in winter. Room booking is easy, no credit card required. I've been coming here for years.
