Perfect hotel
Good hotel in Honiara, with beautiful pool and gym,and a good entertainment, with live music . The room were great and the staff very friendly, a specific mention to linda the hotel receptionist, nice and welcoming and a good worker! Recommended place.

Pathetic choice
The place is well controlled managed by a group of family, we stayed there and very noisy as has canoe bar and club downstairs operates till 12 midnight. So we have people sitting drinking till 3am late side pool.
Have few guests given more preferences if you white and they threat you second class if you of another race usually.
Have a pathetic staffs at receptions no hospitality and they charge you any kind of costs and levy your room bond is always at risk, with basic items sold in big price.
Restaurant pathetic, menu in room is different of restaurant menu. Very local hotel and penthouse have parties whole night no anyone talk against. South Pacific games made place like a all people working I games stay weeks and mo th with holidays lol.

Horrific experience
Could be a reasonable hotel as rooms and facilities are ok - much needed in Honiara, I travel constantly and spend a lot of time in hotels for work, however sadly the owners of this hotel are more interested in money flowing in from a roaring night life with everyone invited from Honiara. My first night was horrific - was in the middle of a seedy nightclub without having to leave my room - did not quieten until 2am - see the morning after rubbish outside my window. The pool outside my room had to be closed for several days due to beer and use of pool as a toilet. I write this with Friday night party raging outside at 11.-00pm
Menu very limited and did not have the better options such as grilled fish and steak - while on the menu they were not available. then was told the kitchen is closed as they were catering for 100 the next day - this was at 2pm - hello I am a guest. Further could not put meals on room charges to be paid in one go - they wanted cash for any transaction - who carries cash?
Domestic staff very helpful but poorly trained and are required to continuously mop the hallway - seems to be the sign of action???. They were not allowed to bring us face cloths or hand towels - seriously. Staff need to be trained properly and the managers need to look at their priorities - either a hotel or night club. At the end of the day after this paid for trip I would never stay here again.

Renovations required!
By hotel standards internationally, this place is wildly over priced. Old rooms, not overly clean. Only one restaurant operating during my stay, meal choices were limited and arrived at table cold. Curious how far away the kitchen is from the dining room.
Security/porter walked me to my room and seemed to begrudge having to do so. Safety issues were a concern when I saw how many security staff were present. Room door didnt lock properly, it looked like it had been forcefully opened too many times. Solid metal bars on window. Still not thrilled with the amount of drunken people who tried to get into my room throughout the night, big party scene for locals, and a bit of a rough environment to be honest. Reception staff weren't particularly helpful or friendly. They even seemed to be put out when I asked any questions.
I would not recommend this hotel if you're looking for an actual hotel (by international standards). But this is Honiara, you're going to pay way too much no matter where you stay. I would suggest avoiding Honiara all together unless you have to stop over on the way to somewhere else. Hopefully this hotel has scheduled some massive renovations and that's why they charge so much.
End on a positive note: Caesar the hotel airport shuttle driver was awesome. Friendly and informative, whatever you're paying him is not enough.

New look for the New lookers
Having come through 2 riots and destructions , PCH now renovations has put itself a place to be, the new gym, poolside, canoe bar and skylight area for occasions. It is a place to be for travellers wanting to stay at one place with everything you want around. come and see
