The staff was very helpful and room was very clean—liked the king sized bed and that the shower had hot water—rare along the El Salvador coast. Pool and location next to beach was nice as well. Free room service was a good touch also.
Hotels.com site misleads a little. The Deluxe King suite does not have an ocean view, nor does it have a bathtub in the room, as the photos show on the listing. There’s only one room on the whole property that has all those things, which we did not find out until we got there—their VIP suite. The internet/WiFi connection is very poor, so their TV consistently froze up when it was used. We also had to call maintenance to get the toilet repaired twice—for such a pricey hotel, not sure so much effort needed to be put into that.
Overall, a good stay, but for the cost, would expect more.

Best place to stay in El Zonte! We had our wedding here on the rooftop and the penthouse was a perfect bridal suite, then honeymoon suite. Views are unmatched. The pool is so relaxing. Food is delicious. Access down to the best beach with caves reachable during low tide mornings-phenomenal nature! Garten has the best vibes and fantastic management. Highly recommend for a small intimate wedding - you will not be disappointed!! We will be back many times for years to come.

Great stay! I would definitely come again. The rooms were clean and the service was great! I will like to book another stay with the same hotel next time I visit El Salvador.

The villa was very pretty and the views of the hotel to beach her beautiful. The small fault that the Hotel had was the cleaning of the bathrooms could be a bit better but other than that nothing to bad what makes us stay five star stay is the hospitality from its workers. They were extremely accommodating to any requests and did their best at all times to make Our stay special.

Spectacular view from the penthouse. Stair access to the beautiful black sand beach. Low density, only shared the pool with a few other people 2 days of our week long stay. Local are around the hotel is charming, hotel staff were excellent. The breakfast is delicious. Only complaint is you get one drink (coffee, juice). The orange juice is fresh squeezed and you will want more.
