Very nice luxury hotel room. a relaxed atmosphere and from the hotel room access to a beautiful beach, something more beautiful we can not imagine.

Stay in Praslin
Simple but complete buffet breakfast and very good dinner, abundant with dishes always presented very well.
We took the standard rooms, which are clean, spacious with air conditioning, but the shower lacks a protective curtain.
Friendly and helpful staff.

It needs to improve
The staff is very friendly. Our room was across the street and wasn't great: there was no full-length mirror, the headboard was broken and the bedside lamp wouldn't turn on properly. There were ants in the bathroom and the shower, which was inside the tub, was mounted low, making it dangerous because if you weren't careful you could hit your head. Initially, there was also no safe but then, after requesting one at reception, they brought it to us.
The beach was beautiful but in the evenings there were sandflies.
The food at the restaurant was very good and we loved that the tables were on the beach. The restaurant menu was different for hotel guests than for people who just came to eat.
We also had an unpleasant experience with an excursion. We booked a half-day excursion to Curieuse Island with a barbecue through the hotel reception but the barbecue wasn't available. Furthermore, on this excursion we risked being scammed by the guides, but fortunately the hotel receptionist helped us resolve the issue.

To flee...
Apart from the beautiful beach just outside the hotel, nothing was satisfactory during our stay.
Breakfast was unflavoured: three fruit duelling, industrial pastries, brick juices, and espressos are charged €4 each — only filter coffee is included.
The massage room — if you call it a massage room at all — was dilapidated and dirty. We asked for a massage, but in the middle of July, the masseuse was... on vacation.
Even the flowers in the hotel are plastic: an attic on such a green island.
As for the standard rooms, they are simply scandalous: the air conditioning leaked abundantly, the bathroom was dilapidated (smashed tap, shower pressure non-existent, blistered ceiling, capricious flushing once in two, towels eliminated...).
To top it all off, the restaurant menu is overpriced compared to the quality of the dishes, bland and uninteresting.
Fortunately, just 100 metres away, Les Lauriers offers a radically different experience: fine dining, friendly staff and regular live concerts – a real treat.
Finally, the icing on the cake: the unpleasant and unhelpful hotel staff do nothing to compensate for the rest.
