Clean room , friendly and helpful staff, air conditioning is good with free entrance tickets to some attractions in Sentosa by scanning QR code at lobby. Shops and eateries are in walking distances. Although rooms are quite small but that’s what you would normally get for a budget hotel.

Basic stay with a very convenient location
I stayed at ibis budget Bugis Singapore and, as expected from a 2-star hotel, this is a very basic property.
The strongest point of this hotel is definitely the location. It is in a strategic area, quite near Bugis MRT, which makes getting around Singapore very convenient. The other positive point is the staff — they were kind, helpful, and pleasant throughout the stay.
That said, the room is very small, which is understandable for this category, but there is really not much else to highlight beyond the basics. Another point to note is that although this hotel is under the Accor group, it does not offer the usual Accor membership rewards and benefits that I normally enjoy.
To be honest, when I compare it with Mercure Bugis, the price difference for my stay was only about SGD 70 more for 3 nights. For that small difference, I would personally choose Mercure Bugis instead, as it offers much better value through membership benefits such as breakfast, privilege lounge access, room upgrade, early check-in, late check-out, and free parking.
Overall, I would give this hotel 3 stars mainly because of the helpful staff and the strategic location. It is fine for a simple budget stay, but I would likely choose a higher-tier Accor property next time.

Good hotel close to Singapore attractions.
Good hotel close to Singapore attractions.
Location is easy to be found:
+ For airport travellers: Take metro (green line, Tuas Link direction), get off at Bugis station, hotel is 10 minutes walking distance.
+ For bus travellers (If you come from Malaysia): Get off at Golden Mile Towers, hotel is 20 minutes walking distance.
Check in is easy and quick, elevators are available. Check in staff is great!
Rooms are quite small that is the worst point of this hotel. Rooms are different, we selected room with window, which make room useful. (Window cannot be opened) Rooms have kettle, tea&coffee setups, good but little bit noisy working AC and hairdryer; but no refrigarator/minibar. Double bed is comfortable. Cleanliness of room is very well. Only issue might be very small insects, which seem to be either ants or flying one. I do not know where they come from, although window is closed all time. It is recommended that close your luggages after take items.
Bathroom is also quite small, no shower cabinet. Soap dispenser is not available, while shampoo is. Sink is somewhat blocked, water is drained slowly. Good point of bathroom is ventilation.
Main Singapore attractions, such as malls, Marina Bay Sands etc. are 20 minutes walking distance.
7/11 market for snacks/drinks is next to the hotel. For comprehensive needs, go to supermarket located at Raffles City mall. (B1 floor)
As for price: Singapore is not cheap city for accomodation. This hotel reflects this trend as well; however, it is acceptable to pay around USD 100 per night for 2 people considering other options in this region.
All in all, it is good experience to stay at Ibis Budget Bugis. Recommended for those who look hotel in the good&safe location.

Well, the hotel has the word budget in its name. However, while I usually enjoy simple accommodations, this hotel is a little tricky. There is no fridge inside most of the rooms, which is very unfortunate in a „hot“ city like Singapore. There also was a problem with the dehumidifier, which blew hot air into the room. The AC, which is generally not the strongest, couldn’t cope with that. I got a mobile dehumidifier instead, which only worked for a day. The hotel is relatively quite, however I got woken up every morning by the very hard working cleaning staff. The bathroom is basically a shower over a toilet, but at least clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and tried to solve every issue as good as they could. It’s very unfortunate that I didn’t get an upgrade although I was eligible as a gold member of hotel.com to get one and even reached out to the hotel beforehand. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It’s close to Raffles Hotel and therefore very near the city centre.

No in room air just a dehumidifier. Uncomfortable to sleep in. Please at least provide a fan. No window as well.
