Quick recharge over the long weekend holiday
Another epic comeback to my 2nd home in singapore with Intercontential Robertson. Glad to have a quick recharge over the long weekend.
The seamless early check-in, well-conditioned room, top-notched customer service and delicacies from the club lounge are the highlights of my stay.
Special mentions to:
1. Vin whom contacted me beforehand to verify my stay requests and assured the best service his team can provide during my arrival.
2. The front desk team for the perfect coordination on fulfilling my check-in requests despite the large in-flow of guests.
During this stay, I am glad there were no negative mentions by my guests and neither from myself. However, I do recommend 2 improvements which can help the hotel in the long run.
Intercontential Club lounge - As a repeat customer over the past visits, I noticed a trend of similar dishes. I suggest some minor changes in dishes served especially during the happy hour.
Guest Room Maintenance - Noticed some minor defects from the socket outlet as it can't be plugged properly. In addition, the door stopper for the bath room door seems a little damaged from deterioration.
I will be looking forward to my next visit with Intercontential Robertson.

Welcoming & comfy stay
Overall is chill & very very very clean
Drop off point employee is super welcoming & friendly
Receptionists efficient & helpful with a warm smile on face
Housekeeping is very helpful on my urgent silk dress pressing , I need to attend an event
I love the room , comfy bed sheet , clean, towel bathrobe, slipper very nice

RECOMMENDED
Very nice neighborhood for a walk by the river, especially with your favorite music if you're traveling solo. The amenities and cleanliness are top-notch. It's very breezy in the area, especially in the afternoon. I sat in front of the hotel in a public area to write in my journal and have a cigarette. Overall, 100% recommended if you're traveling solo to SG.

Where Warm Hospitality Outshines Everything Else

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where Warm Hospitality Outshines Everything Else
We recently stayed at this hotel for a family trip to Singapore — 4 nights across two rooms, an Executive Room and a Junior Suite. While the rooms are on the compact side, I can honestly say that the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us completely forget about it.
From the very beginning, Emily, a Korean staff member, went above and beyond to ensure our family felt comfortable and well taken care of. Her thoughtful attention to detail and genuine care made settling in so much easier, especially traveling with family.
The Executive Lounge was a highlight of our stay. Adi, who appeared to be the General Manager of the Executive Lounge, and the head chef created such a welcoming atmosphere — the food, the service, and the overall vibe made our evenings there something we genuinely looked forward to every day. It truly elevated the entire experience. I also want to give a special mention to the Head Chef, whose culinary talent added so much to our stay. I sincerely apologize for having misplaced your name card — I wish I could give you the full credit you deserve! The food was exceptional, and your passion for what you do was evident in every dish.
On our last day, we had the pleasure of meeting Inhee, who is also Korean. It was such a warm and delightful surprise to find not one but two Korean staff members — Emily and Inhee — at the hotel. Being able to chat comfortably in our native language made us feel right at home, and their genuine hospitality left a lasting impression on us.
One thing that genuinely made this trip special was the fact that we rarely encountered other Korean tourists during our stay. It gave us that real “we’re actually traveling” feeling that’s hard to come by these days.
The location at Clarke Quay is absolutely ideal. Evening strolls along the river are lovely, and Long Beach — arguably Singapore’s best black pepper crab — is literally a 2-minute walk away. We also walked to the River Cruise on our last day (about 15 minutes), which was a perfect way to wrap up the trip.
The rooms may be modest in size, but the kindness of every single staff member we encountered more than compensates for it. Emily, Adi, the head chef, Inhee — you all made this trip unforgettable. We’ll be back.

Overall our stay at the intercon Robertson quay was very good. Property is well maintained, hotel staff at reception, bell op, concierge, housekeeping and room services are very diligent, polite. Only be ok, was breakfast. Breakfast time can be Very hectic and test your patience, with delays in getting hot drinks after 9 am. Barista is alone to handle too many orders and the waiters are way too inexperienced ( or not concerned at all) to be able to deliver the drinks timely to the correct table. A Lukewarm double expresso will not wake me up😀. Buffet spread is good and eggs dishes promptly served before 9:30 am. The quality of the bread loafs could be improved.
