Cool city hotel price=quality
Good modern hotel , per trip were in it 3 times gets the main purpose of the trip was to cruise so we booked this hotel 2 nights before the cruise and 2 nights after the cruise , due to the cancellation of the return flight we had to buy new tickets and buy another night at the hotel. So we've been here 5 nights, moved to different rooms 3 times, so that's it. And each time we checked in very quickly in a couple of minutes although we came even 9am one morning after the cruise (checked in before for free if you are a member of their bonus program, just register in advance on the hotel's official website), rooms we took always one of a kind , they are very spacious for Singapore , once gave a room for the disabled (although we are not disabled), it is even bigger in area on the floors there is a communal microwave and iron and ironing board (once used , thank you)
Great waiting area on the second floor , there is a small kitchen with appliances, cups , water , and coffee maker , can be made free tea and coffee , also there is a fridge large , can expect transfer in a pleasant atmosphere.
The location is also great, at the beginning when walking from the metro bugis navigator showed to cross the street over the overhead crossing , it was terrible with suitcases very hard, don't make our mistake , 30 meters from the overhead crossing there is a regular crossing with traffic lights.
On foot from the hotel you can walk to several metro stations, 10 minutes on foot the area of little India (not even the metro is needed, go on foot), park fort canning 15 minutes on foot about, also around the corner near the hotel was a small China town , discovered it on the last day only unfortunately, there in the cool room is a very cool selection of cheap souvenirs , food and so on, even there is a small supermarket where all prices are lower than half as in 7/11 it was a shock would have known earlier would have bought all the souvenirs there.
Another cool friendly staff, everything was nice, thank you.
Cons : breakfasts are mediocre (rice, eggs (not always), deep-fried rice cake , tortillas and 1-2 more dishes , fruit 1-2 kinds and watermelon - basically that's all, tea and coffee from drinks)
if you come for 1-2 nights okay, but more than 2 nights it is no longer possible to have breakfast like this, it is better to eat somewhere else.
The air conditioner works in the room, but if you turn it on it is cold , encloses the nose with time , and if you turn it off it is hot and impossible to breathe(((

University dorm renovated to hotel
It’s like a university dormitory with a really nice bar and a modern gym
The bathroom is tiny, so showers will make the toilet area wet with water
Bed is decent
TV in the room doesn’t have channels. It’s just a screen to project your device onto
Self storage area is on 2nd floor for luggage. Bring your own bicycle chain lock.
Taxi drop off is on second floor. Check in is on first floor. You will also have to walk a flight of stairs, in case you want to carry your luggage to check in counter

Short stop over to discover Singapore
This hotel is very well located in the Bugis area and perfect for public transports connection to visit the city. The hotel itself has rather small rooms, a self service area downstairs. Breakfast is ok, although not much choice for western tastes and sometimes food was not replenished frequently. The bas downstairs was very goo, with live music during the 3 nights we stayed there.

An excellent short stay ahead of my long term tenancy. I was very grateful to the front of house team who looked after me throughout, arranging early access to my room following significant travel from Chicago to London, to visit family in Wales, ahead of the second leg to Singapore. Thank you.
